 So this is Mason. He's the same age as Alice, making him 27 and he's been her best friend since they were nine years of age. He befriended her through a silly childish dare that neither of them can remember properly, but Alice knows that without him she would be nothing. He was the one who helped her when she was struggling and who let her stay over when her mom was on a bender, but more about Alice's childhood can be found in her app, save me filling it all out here.
Basically, Mason is Alice's family now. He's the guy she would drop everything for in a heartbeat. Her reputation may suggest many things, but no matter what happens she'll always be loyal to Mason and go to him for advice when she needs it. There's never been anything more than platonic between them and it's a thought Alice hasn't even contemplated since she sees Mason as kin rather than anything else, but a right plot might persuade me to encourage her otherwise. However, Alice's main reason for wanting Mason around is what I said above; advice. She has a few ideas in mind that she would like to play out and they'll all require someone who she trusts giving her head a wobble here and there. Plus, she looks out for Mason as much as he looks out for her, so any plots you have with him she'll be sure to poke her nose into as the best friend.
He's an open character with nothing particularly set for him. His face is open (I just don't like my ads without graphics!), his name could be changed if it really bothered you, and he can be doing whatever with his life and with whoever. If Alice needs to be Auntie Alice, then she can roll with that! Or she can do her favourite thing and run checks and inspect his dates before he commits to them. It's entirely up to you. Alice is quite the alpha character and in a position of power, so it would be nice to know if he is the kind who would challenge that or if he is the sort who takes a back seat when one is helping the other. I'm not too sure what Alice would prefer, so your choice and I'm sure both will wrack up some drama!
