She has the words “I’m possible” written on her right foot. She has angel wings on one shoulder blade and a pair of eyes on the other. She also has a butterfly on her neck and she has her brother’s initials (her first tattoo and from there she was hooked) on the inside of her right ankle which she’d gotten once the cast was removed; her mother didn’t like it but her father thought it fitting and brought her to get it. PERSONALITY: Elliot is a tough cookie with a knack for turning regular people into the monsters hidden in children’s wardrobes and under their beds. She’s quite friendly even if her tattooed appearance leaves some people wary. She’s a confident girl with plenty of creativity to spare. She’s a hopeless romantic wanting that fairy tale ending for herself but she’s afraid of giving her heart away. Because she’s scared to open up and tell someone about her accident. She’s spent hours trying to remember what happened, despite saying she never wanted to know. Elliot isn’t shy at all. In fact, she is quite the opposite being loud and outrageous at times. Elliot’s the flirty type, starting a conversation with just about anyone to pass the time. She loves what she does for a living, but also likes the mystery of it all. She hides her scars behind colourful ink and she hides faces behind colour works of art day in and day out. She’s a spunky one, wearing her personality like a shield with her style. She’s not afraid to mouth of and get lippy with people who start on her. The accident broke bones but it never broke her spirit. Being the resilient girl that she is, Elliot bounced back from her injuries pretty quickly, though she spent more time in a shrink’s chair than she did in hospital bed but it had been a traumatic experience and one she hopes never to remember.

HISTORY: Elliot’s childhood was pretty normal. She played sports; she coloured and carried around a sketchbook. She and her brother visited their grandparents every summer in Florida. She had passing grades and her teachers had nothing bad to say about her. For all appearances, Elliot was an angel, a good little girl with the potential for anything. In high school she took every art class she could get. There was one assignment, after learning different techniques, different mediums that really dug in and took hold for Elliot. The class had the students paired, each designing a mask of sorts for their partner. Some were given clay, plastic, cardboard that could be decorated with whatever the students chose. Some were given more difficult and demanding items, such as latex. Elliot and Jones were given latex. She had barely an idea of what she was doing but she designed it all out on paper first, figured out colours and ways to make the shapes she needed, having chosen to make a scaly reptilian half mask for Jones. They made molds of their faces and worked through the time, Elliot barely touching her other school work, just long enough to get a decent grade and then going back to her progress on the mask. She wanted it to be perfect, even using Jordan when Jones wasn’t available to test her work. The difficulty came from having to redo the mask on Jones’ face when class came around and they were being graded. She’d had Jordan’s help so she was faster at it than Jones was so she sat in the chair first, letting her partner turn her into a mummy before switching spots. They did very good, receiving top marks. Seeing the potential in Elliot, her teacher sent the photographs of her work to a couple different special effects studios who would appreciate a rising talent. Elliot enjoyed it so much; she kept up with designs, using Jordan and some friends as models.
When she was fifteen, Elliot and her brother took a train to their grandparent’s house for the summer. Just outside Miami, there was an accident; a collision with a transport trucks end. Even now, Elliot isn’t sure what happened. She was drawing in her sketchbook, designing like she always did, adding colours and textures with her pencil crayons with a list on the backside of all the paint colours, latex and other things she would need to make the picture a reality. One minute, she was joking with Jordan and the next, she was flung across the small space into his lap and the minute after that, she was waking up in hospital attached to all sorts of tubes and machines and she’d missed four weeks of her summer. The people in their cabin and a couple others were considerably luckier than the rest of the long train. Elliot had some internal bleeding, a broken leg, three cracked ribs and one broken rib. She had a serious concussion, couldn’t remember her name or anything basic for some time but she eventually remembered everything but the accident. Jordan took more of a blow since he’d tried to protect Elliot once everything happened. He was in the hospital longer and at the beginning, they weren’t sure if he was going to make it. But he pulled through, recovering in Miami with his sister and grandparents while their parents went back to Virginia.
Once they were back in Virginia Beach, Neither Elliot nor Jordan speak of the accident they were in. Both had wished to never relive the trauma and the only thing to remember the trauma is the tattoos both got later on to cover some light scars. Graduation came around and Elliot headed off to college shortly afterwards being accepted to an arts college in New York. Four years flew by and it seemed like before she realised it she was graduating from college with a pretty new diploma ready for framing and hanging, a new job at a studio in New York and a handful or two of tattoos. Fast forward six years and she’s gained enough experience to be running her own team within the studio. She wants to start up her own place eventually but she’d like some more experience before reaching that goal.
