SECRETS: He's in love with his best friend whom he happens to live with.
PERSONALITY: LOYAL— Cal is a loyal friend. He will stick by his friends, and although he doesn't like it, he will fight for his friends and what he believes in. His career choice has brought upon him a lot of people who don't think that fashion is a womans job and critize him for it. But he stands up for what he does, and knows he can prove to himself and everyone who thought he couldn't do it, that he could and will make it.
COMPASSIONATE— Cal may sometimes appear to be this rough and tough kind of guy, but really he's a teddy bear. He's just gooey on the inside and will help anyone in need. He's not naive, and he can tell the difference between someone trying to use him and someone genuinely needing his help.
OPEN-MINDED— Caleb is an open minded person. One would have to be, really, in the Fashion Industry, and Cal is no different. You could tell him Vampires exist and that you are one, and he'd be cool with it. Though, he would probably ask that you stay away from his neck...
ARTSY— Caleb wants to be a fashion designer out of College. He's good, and could potentially be a great designer. He's got the drive and the ambition to get the job done and he sometimes forgets he has other plans when he gets into the swing of things. It usually takes his roommate, Ayden to pull him out of his work when he needs to be somewhere.
ATHLETIC— Caleb is an outdoor sports fanatic. He runs every day, rain or shine, he plays all sorts of sports in the park, he's good and he loves being active and outdoors. His mother doesn't like him being so active since he did have some troubles as a baby. She has a fear that something’s going to happen to him while he's fooling around outside. And Caleb knows he'll be just fine.
INQUISITIVE— Cal is quite the nosey parker. His parents often joked when he was a child that they gave him the wrong name. He wants to know everything and isn't afraid to ask questions. People who don't know him tend to say he's annoying and those who do tend to just think he's funny or being cute.
QUIET— Caleb was and is still a pretty quiet guy. He's not shy, he says what's on his mind when it’s there but other than that, he mostly stays quiet unless the topic is something he's passionate about. It’s quite ironic since he's been known to be outspoken and loud but that's usually only when he's been angered or annoyed by something. It's surprising because of the large group of friends he left behind in Seattle and the amount of friends he has now, in New York.Get him in a club though, and he will be your favourite party buddy! The atmosphere just gets to him and he turns into this party animal!!

HISTORY: When Vivian and Johnathan found out they were having a child, they were thrilled. He was their miracle child since all the doctors they had seen told them they couldn't have children. Neither Vivian nor Johnathan were in their twenties and they had thought that they'd missed their chance. Caleb had been born two months early and had difficulties at birth. At first, they hadn't thought he was going to make it and if he did, he'd be a very small, very sick child. But, he'd pulled through and ended up being a very social and active young boy. He loved the outdoors, and spent countless hours throughout his childhood in the fresh air. He'd been born in a white walled, rather gloomy Seattle Hospital during a major thunderstorm. His grandfather had said that meant he'd be a tough little bugger. And he wouldn't let anything get in his way. His grandfather was right. So, Vivian and Johnathan named their son after him; Caleb.
Thankfully, his personality was nothing like that white walled hospital or life would have been seriously dull! Cal was an adventurous young thing when he was small, always getting into things but he was also very creative. On rainy days, when his mother wouldn't let him outside, he could and had spent hours upon hours drawing. At first, it was animals but then it grew into more detailed things. Eventually, he found himself designing clothing. Mens, womens, childrens. In high school, he took the fashion course available and really enjoyed it. Since he had a sewing machine at home, and fabrics from his mothers millions of random hobbies, he could work in his basement and have friends model his clothing while another friend took pictures. Vivian owned a boutique, but had expressed wishes that her son grow up to be something important like a lawyer or a doctor. Neither of which were all that appealing after he'd found his true passion. His father had hoped that his son would follow in his footsteps, but who really wanted to be an accountant. Of course now, his father was semi-retired but that didn't stop the man from taking on new clients. In his junior year of high school, he got his first tattoo, and that started something close to an addiction. Around the same time, Caleb signed up to be the Costume Designer for the school's play. He designs were praised, and he signed on for the next years as well.
When it came time to apply to College, Cal applied to dozens of schools all over the country; to schools with good fashion prgrams. He loved Seattle, but he also knew that he needed to get away for a bit. Go to school somewhere else and go back to Seattle when he'd made something of himself. He wanted to go back and have his mother tell him that she would love to have his designs in the store instead of selling them to his friends like he had in high school. When his acceptance letters started to come in the mail, his parents were thrilled, as was he. He'd been accepted to quite a few of the schools that he'd applied to; including the University in Seattle. Initially, Cal couldn't decide which school he wanted to attend. So, he wrote down all their names on small pieces of paper, pinned them to his father's dart board, closed his eyes and threw the dart. It hit New York. When his parents had found out they were having a child, they opened up a savings fund for school and expenses. Cal had also saved money from his job at a clothing store in the mall and from the sale of his own designs. Together, they had saved enough for Caleb to attend school for the full four years his program would be, and a small apartment on his own for a few months. But he wouldn't be living alone as his best friend had also gotten accepted to the school in New York and they were planning on living together. Those plans became reality and almost four years later, they still live together, both attend school and both work to have spending since Cal's grandfather's gift to them was paying the rent while they were in school. But Cal's also been keeping a secret from Ayden that only his grandfather knows about; he's in love with her. It had really hit home on their Prom night when he'd seen her walk into that hotel ballroom in that beautiful sapphire silk halter dress. She'd gone to Prom with some guy that Caleb couldn't even remember the name of, and it had brought a pang to Cal's heart and he realized it was jealousy. He wanted to be the man she'd gone to prom with.
