Growing up as an only child left a bit of an after-effect on Meg. She sometimes tends to pout or get upset when things don't go her way, or stray from how she had had them planned out in her head. While she's not as bad as some of the rich brats who live in the city, she does like to be the center of attention when arround her father. She won't order you about or start whining and throwing a fit if you don't let her do things her own way, but if she's in a bad mood you'll sometimes see how spoiled she can truly be.

CURIOUS
Training to be someone who helps solves crimes does require you to be a bit curious, right? Well, Meg definitely is. She likes to learn new things and usually does so by sticking her nose in places it doesn't belong. Most of her life she's been like that, so it makes sense that she still would be now. But, sometimes, people can take her interest in them the wrong way. They find it annoying how many questions she asks and how personal they become on occasion. She herself isn't afraid to be very open with them, but she forgets that not everyone else on the planet is like that.

RANDOM
Though some find it extremely annoying, Meg tends to blurt out her thoughts during the most strange moments. She does that a lot during school when she's thinking about too many things at once, or when she's just very focused on one thing. Talking out loud helps her to be as good as she is with her work, because it allows her to somehow think clearer. She doesn't quite understand it herself, but she isn't planning on giving up the weird quirk anytime in the near future.

FUN-LOVING
While she can be focused and keep her mind on one thing, it usually doesn't last too long. Meg loves to goof off and have fun. She won't go so far as to get herself in trouble, but she does like to be the life of a party when she's in a good mood and all of her work assignments have been turned in or finished. While her fun doesn't normally get in the way of her job, Meg will sometimes forget about being serious and focused. On those occasions, it takes a bit to reign her back in, but she always returns to her calm side eeventually.

Though many may not believe it, the simple things in life often mean the most to Meg. She learned to love them more than the expensive and matieralistic things lots of girls her age tend to want. Her mother being killed and taken from her life at the drop of a pin helped her realize this, and she's kept herself away from fancy food and expensive clothes as best as she could. But, you know, every girl fails at some point in time, and Meg isn't excluded from it. She slips up on occasion, seeing only the one item she wants instead of the person behind it. But, usually, her Dad can steer her back on track and that keeps her from turning into a complete brat.

HISTORY:
When you think of the words "small town girl," usually the first thing that comes to mind is a country girl living down south. But, Meg is definitely no country hick. She was born to Loraine, whose last name was Dominic at the time. She had been with someone else, Zachary James, when she concieved her daughter, which Meg still doesn't know about. Soon after finding out she was pregnant, Zachary fled the state, leaving behind Loraine and her growing child for fate to snatch up. During this period of her life, Cody Warren, her neighbour for as long as she could remember, swooped in and became a bit more. The two married a few months after Meg's birth, Cody having no hard feelings towards Loraine or Meg for her not being his biological child. He still raised the girl as his own daughter, and both parents swore to never speak of Zachary to keep Meg from discovering it. They planned on waiting until she was older and more mature to gently break the news to her. Meg grew up as the apple of both her parents' eyes, being the only child ever to enter their small family. She was a happy child, being content with just living in the tight-knit town of Forks.

But, even tragedy strikes the most inoccent of us. When Meg's thirteenth birthday had just passed, Loraine decided to go out and get one last gift for her precious daughter. But, on the way home from the store, a deer came jumping out in front of her car while she was on a country road. She swerved to avoid it, ending up crashing the car into a tree trunk. The air bag suffocated her before the ambulance even arrived, leaving a devastated Cody and Meg in complete shock.

Since "The Incident," as both of them now call it, Meg has had an interest in Forensic Science. She wanted to learn exactly what had caused her mother to die, besides the air bag, and has wanted to do the same for other people. While other teenage girls were messing around with make up and hair curlers, Meg was reading up on DNA, fingerprints, and other science-related topics. She never really took an interest in fashion or other "girly" things until she hit college, where she wanted to make a name for herself. She wanted to be known and to have some crime lab or other choose her for their next great scientist. This drove her to choose New York for the backdrop of her schooling, and Cody readily agreed to move out of the town that reminded him of Loraine everywhere he looked. So, the two of them packed up and traveled out to the marvelous city, Cody selling most of their things in Forks to buy a small apartment near the college. He found a new, good paying, job and easily kept the bills and payments under control, allowing Meg to focus entirely on her education and dreams.

Meg graduated from college and accepted a job offer down in Washington D.C. where she learned many of the tricks that have become the base for her career. She spent a couple years down there, solving crimes and enjoying the perks of running a forensic lab. Since then, she's been transferred back to New York and has moved into a bigger house, making her dad comfortable as he goes into his retirement. She's still working crazy hours and still toiling away, but she's found someone who understands how hard it can be to balance family and a passion.
