BRANDON EMMETT LARKIN

29 || Marquee Bouncer || Falling for Ember || Stoic

Brandon is an ex-detective who quit the force and now works at the Marquee nightclub as a bouncer. He’s always been the kind of stand-up guy society needs, but quit the force out of fear that the job was going to drive him to drink. He was born and raised in New York City, living in a pretty rough neighbourhood, but coming out of it lucky. He’s got all the good intentions, but still finds himself drawn to danger, even after leaving the NYPD. He’s the kind of guy to go that extra mile, but he’s not a person you can walk all over. He’s a fitness king, using most of his spare time to hit the gym and work out.
He’s not a fighter on impulse, but challenge his strongest beliefs or those he cares about and you’ll find a punch being thrown in your general direction. He’s a calm, composed kind of guy who doesn’t really ask for much out of life.

After living in the city his whole life, he will probably had built up at least a small group of loyal friends. Brandon’s the kind of guy who will support you and do what’s right for everyone. Which moves us nicely onto the concept of enemies. He was with the Drug Squad during his time with the NYPD, so he’s sure to have a nice list of people who want revenge, as well as those who he’s thrown out of the club more than once. Although he tries to get along with everyone, there are going to be folk who he can’t deal with or vice versa. Love, whilst not high on his priorities, has decided to come his way regardless. He’s currently fighting his way to get through to Ember Grant and she’s giving more of a challenge than he was expecting. Anything else in this area will have to be in the past, darlings.

MYLES TIMOTHY GRAHAM

26 || CSI Detective || Single and Playing || Charismatic

Then we have Myles. He’s twenty six and works with the NYPD as a CSI Detective. He had a tough family life after his father’s untimely death, but he worked hard to make things work back in Boston. He played basketball in high school and it was there he learnt how to charm the women with a smile and a good line. He moved out to UCLA to study Forensic Science and joined the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity where he met his roommate and best friend, Tricks. He’s a fitness freak to the core, and spends a lot of his free time at the gym or playing basketball with his friends. Other than that though, his life is pretty much chaos and pandemonium at the best of times as he slips from the bedroom to the precinct on a regular basis.

The one good thing that came out of his rough youth was his loyalty. Myles will do whatever he has to for his friends and he’s not one to abandon them when the going gets tough, and will do whatever it takes to protect them from harm. As for enemies, the ‘friends’ list would probably be shorter. He’s a massive flirt and has probably crossed boyfriends in the past who would like to see him with a black eye. He hates those who hurt the people he cares about and it takes a lot for him to forget about a grudge. Myles isn’t afraid to square up at any time or any place though if smooth talking doesn’t work. He is capable of love but right now is enjoying playing the field; commitment is something that scares him. It’s not all peaches and cream though and as his best friend finds love, Myles is starting to feel a bit like a third wheel and secretly wondering how long he keep his charmer routine up for before the right woman snatches him away. No better place for dramatic plots to ensue…

BRAN-FLAKE
I feel like it could be quite good for Jude and Brandon to be buds. Gym buds. They give each other's head a wobble when necessary kind of thing. Jude is in the middle of planning something I still need to tweak, but he'll need someone around then and Brandon might just be the bees knees for it.

Other than that, the poor man already has my Ember to deal with, so I'll keep the crazy faaar away from him.


MYLES
This is the awful part where I point out that I have no one for your wonderful Myles plot. At least no one that has jumped out and screamed "MEMEMEMEME!", but take another glance at my lot and let me know. If not, maybe it's wanted ad?

Also, Nix (needs things) and has decided that he gets a bit of stick from the likes of Myles since he's the new kid on the block and probably a lot less smooth than the other guys in the labs.

Valor x Brandon
I can't see them being friends but there maybe something to this. Valor's a low as dirt, care-free and reckless drug addict with not a lot to live for, I could see him having quite the grudge against Brandon and wouldn't be against an altercation or two.

Valor x Myles
Another one I don't see being friends with Valor. Myles and Valor are friends with Devon though, so there's room for conflict. Devon helps Valor despite him not deserving it and I can't imagine it would sit well with Myles.

Sorry! I was busy with school for a while!

I like both of these ideas. Myles would probably try to talk sense into Devon if he found out and would probably warn Valor not to mess up her chances, since she's still kind of new to the NYPD and aiming to get high up in the ranks there.

And I noticed that Valor knows Ember, who by coincidence is Brandon's girlfriend! He knows about her wild past, so I can see him knowing Valor too, definitely. Plus with the plot Kim mentioned about Brandon's sister, he's going to have a bit of a strong reaction to Valor's lifestyle choices so it would be easy to see Brandon losing his cool much more around Valor now; even if he had Ember around to mediate in her own special way.

Not a problem, I was off for a while to. Personal reasons but heyy I'm around now. 

The more hatred or anger and even cool losing irrational reactions to Valor you can muster the better. Valor is drama. Senseless violence, a whirlwind of substance abuse, and horribly self-loathing. The negativity towards him will only push him deeper into the flames of addiction (evil laugh) but it'll work out for a great plot set. lol.

if I missed anyone off then I'm really sorry. It's been far too long since I actually checked this thing and plotted, but it's time to change that mess and get these boys doing some interested shizz.
