PERSONALITY: Mills learned at a very young age that people were going to run their mouths about her, it was up to her to let it slide. She can give it just as well as she can take it because her mother raised a very strong and independent woman with a mind of her own and the attitude to match. She will throw down just as easily as she'll help out. That has always been her nature. Mills probably has the best resting bitch face around but underneath it, she really is a sweetheart. It's just that she's been burned so many times that she doesn't let that side of her show anymore, unless she's with friends. While she loves her parents and her aunts and uncles, Mills wasn't meant for the lifestyle of the rich and famous, especially the famous part of it. She had higher ambitions and her parents are happy to let her get away from the limelight! Mills hasn't let her walls drop long enough to make any sort of real connection. Honestly, she's afraid to wake up one morning and realise she's in love. While she'd like one day to have what her parents have, she's terrified of it all the same.MOTHER: Roxanne Moon & 44.

HISTORY: Max and Roxanne knew each other before fame became a factor. They, along with Max's band, grew up in the same too small town. Roxanne was a couple years younger but she was an incredible dancer and when they were trying to make it as a band, they used her to dance to the songs in the bad little music videos they made themselves. They all seemed to explode onto the scene at the same time. It was tough at first, people wanted so much from them all that it was overwhelming and Roxanne ended up crashing out a bit. She tossed her modelling career aside, mostly because she'd never wanted it, but also because she'd grown up around the band her entire life. They were her brothers and she felt too much separation anxiety to leave them. They'd had rough childhoods, with Roxanne's being the worst. It was so bad one night that they weren't even sure if she was alive when they found her. After that, she'd mysteriously became Wesley's little sister and that's how she ended up going with them when things exploded. She wasn't about to tell anyone differently so away she went. Instead of going for her own career, she chose to stick with the guys and help out on tour doing whatever needed to be done. Eventually, she was more their manager than their manager was and when their contract was up, they chose not to sign back on with the idiot. Roxanne had been making connections and contacts throughout the whole process. They figured that she probably knew more people than their old manager and they were big enough that even if she floundered through the first little while, they'd be fine until she got her feet under her. They hadn't needed to worry though, because she flourished with all the work and before anyone knew it, she had another band signed to a label she'd created, had an assistant who was competent enough to do what Roxy asked of her without questioning it and life was good.
It was a while before Roxy and Max even confessed their feelings but once they did, they were truly inseparable. Millie surprised them quite quickly after their confessions but life felt complete, albeit a lot scary. They'd had such terrible childhoods that Roxy was worried about messing up and being a bad parent. She'd had nothing to worry about. When Mills was born, they'd already had names picked out, relating to no one in either family, instead named after friends they'd accumulated over the years and that was that. It was pretty tough for them, with the paparazzi always about but Roxy took care of it after a screaming match with one of them. She wanted her privacy and while she was at home, at least, she got it. No paparazzi would dare try that again. Millie loved playing on the beach with all her aunts and uncles, her parents and the various children that came about. She liked the build sand castles and swim in the ocean, have fires at night in the sand. The smell of a burning campfire mixed with the sea was her absolute favourite smell in the world. There was nothing like it. School was something Millie wished she could avoid but she got through well enough, if a little bored in some places. She liked the maths and she liked the chemistry aspect of science but she could really do without the rest of the nonsense. Her grades fell quickly in high school because she was bored but her mother noticed immediately and asked her what was up. It was shortly after that talk that she met Genesis and things started to really turn around for the blonde. She finally had someone outside the family to talk to. While she had friends throughout school that she adored, she wouldn't call any of them her best friend. She did things with them, movies, the mall, the beach but until her sister from another mister came around, she'd felt like something was missing. Millie imagined that's what her mother had felt like without her father and the uncles; like something was missing.
They went through everything together. Boyfriends came and went for both girls, none of them sticking around long because they just couldn't seem to handle the paparazzi or the severe lack of privacy. That was fine. Genesis always said that she would never date anyone famous because of all the hassle of it and just wanted a simple life, date someone who didn't have cameras shoved in their face all the time, like a teacher or something and Mills agreed that it would be the dream. But she didn't care whether or not she dated a teacher, a chemist or a stupid rockstar because no matter what, cameras were going to follow them around. They were the daughters of some of the most famous Rock stars on the planet. Even if they just went for a coffee, people wanted to know about it. It was a weird intrusion into someone's life and Millie never, ever saw the appeal unless they were eating something that looked delicious and maybe then she'd want to know what it was so she could order it next time. Otherwise, like her mother, she felt like people needed to mind their own business.
It wasn't so much that Millie was bad at school, it was more like it didn't challenge her enough. So she slacked off and acted foolishly. She didn't really care either way because she'd seen a scared and potentially broken girl who needed a friend and Mills thought she was just the person. So she let Genesis tutor her in some classes, and made sure to pass those ones will higher marks than the rest. It wasn't a total lie, so it made Millie feel better. She did need help in a couple classes, really was struggling with geography and that pesky science class. She was good with chemistry because it was like computer coding, only the computer was usually the human body, but the rest, she was rubbish with. Genesis seemed to enjoy all the sciences so away they went! As it turned out, they'd made easy and fast friends. So much so, Genesis spent more time at Millie's house than she did her own. No one asked any questions, they all welcomed her with open arms. Mills wasn't completely unaware of how her parents had been brought up so she figured that they saw something of a kindred spirit in the petite brunette that their daughter brought home and did everything they could to welcome her.
They made sure the table was set for her, they bought extra things so she'd have it at their place should she need it. They even planned and booked family holidays with her in mind, though they did ask permission to take her along. To Millie, it seemed like Genesis' father didn't quite know what to do with her either and it was just easier to let her go do her own thing. It looked awfully lonely and Millie didn't ever want Genesis to feel alone. She was her best friend, her sister. And, since her parents didn't mind, she thought it was okay, too! Graduation rolled around and they'd both decided that New York was where they wanted to be. Millie loved New York because they went every Christmas and a couple times in the summer, thanks to what her parents did. They were always travelling, and when she could join them, she did. It was a lot of fun, Millie wouldn't deny that, but she thought she wanted a more stationary lifestyle. Something where she could travel if she wanted to but it would be on her terms, not so much because her job demanded it. It might have been a foolish thought, and she might change it again before her time in school was over, but it was how she was thinking now.
