PERSONALITY: Bellamy very much enjoys being the centre of attention. She’s popular and something of a gossip. She’s talented, but that can be hidden behind the superficial act she feels like she needs to hide behind. She’s a real girly girl, and Bellamy is flirt of the highest degree. She can come across as being selfish sometimes, but this is often a side effect of her impulsive nature. Bellamy is very blunt, even if it comes across as cruel sometimes. She’s emotional, and definitely gives off the vibe of the youngest child. She’s outgoing and bubbly by nature, and keen to make friends. She can be vengeful when she’s angry, and when her emotions take over she wants nothing more than to get her own back on those who have crossed her. She’s young, and struggles to settle in a relationship. Bells is frequently attracted to multiple men at multiple times. She will never cheat, but she will flit from one guy to the next, breaking hearts and possibilities in the process. She’s a romantic, but she’s more worried about making herself a star than letting someone hold her heart in their hands.MOTHER: Katarina Elisha Abernethy, 48.

HISTORY: Bellamy was the last child born to Katarina and Keifer. She was the spoilt princess in her father’s eye. Whereas her older sisters had their shortcomings, she was the star of the show. Her parents let her get away with everything, and she was able to get anything she wanted simply by batting her eyelashes at them. She was the youngest child, and it was like they wanted to atone for all of their mistakes by giving her everything she might ever want. She had no interest in sharing with her sisters, and spent a great deal of her childhood being a little princess in her own room, or putting on shows for her parents with dolls and acting out her favourite moments from Disney movies. She couldn’t stand having anyone else be the centre of attention; that was her spot.
Bellamy was quite easily one of the more popular girls in her class. She oozed charisma, and she was pretty to top it off. She had all the newest gadgets and toys. She came in to school wearing the top line fashions and she always had everything seemingly before anyone else. Daddy’s little girl was the perfect power play for the ranks of classroom popularity. She was a professional backstabber and queen bee. There was always some kind of drama following Bells around, just like there was always some boy vying for her attention. She had a permanent on and off again relationship with a guy on the football team. When they were ‘off’ she dated other guys in her class, but seemed to always end up back with her favourite piece of arm candy in time for a dance or a big party.
She had a flair for the dramatics, and she was in every school production her high school put on. She even managed to make Queenie’s tragic accident into something about herself. Bells was good at owning the stage though, there was no denying that. She took each role in stride and made it work. She was Miss Popular amongst her peers and knew that her goal in life was to make it as an actor. She had no patience at a desk in a classroom, being told to take notes or write reports for her homework. She didn’t focus like some of the other kids. She needed the attention and she craved the spotlight.
She wanted to go to California after school, to take a shot at stardom while she was at college; the only stipulation her parents forced upon their favourite daughter. However, as a senior, Bells partied harder. She had friends, and she did spend some nights away from home at house parties and with boys she wanted to get to know better. Some of her friends got into playing with drugs and drink. Bells didn’t. She only drank fruity mocktails, and declined all drugs because ‘duh, I need to remember my lines, not shoot them up.’ Still, there was one time she held onto a few packets for a friend who was in hot water with her parents. Bells thought nothing of it at the time, but her own parents found them when they were taking some old clothes of Bell’s to a charity bank. The packets were in her vanity and fell to the floor when her father knocked it. It was the only time they didn’t listen to her protests and pleas. They thought at the very least she must have been dealing drugs if she wasn’t taking them herself.
This resulted in them refusing to pay for Bellamy to go to college in the west. They pretty much forced her to join her sisters in New York. Keifer and Katarina seemed to think that by pushing her towards her two sisters she would be forced to spend time with them and use them as role models in her life, letting them take some kind of responsibility for her. Bells wasn’t down with that though. She would go to New York because she had no choice, but she had zero intentions of clinging to dorky Annie and depressive Queenie. No, she was going to own that city just like she had owned Barre. At least, that’s her plan.
