PERSONALITY: Whitney is a take charge kind of girl so it was pretty obvious from a young age that she would do something interesting with her life. She grew up thinking she would become a lawyer actually and studied her ass off to get a near perfect score on her SATs and then her LSATs. Definitely a fighter, Whitney got injured as a child and instead of cowering from the world because she has a wicked scar, she wears it with pride, though she is still terrified of dogs. She's smart but that is one phobia that she'll probably never get over. Sarcastic probably isn't the right word to use when it comes to Whitney but she's definitely that and sassy and so many other things. She's a very loyal person, whether it be a friend, a client (all of whom she considers friends) or family. Ask and she will be by your side as soon as it is humanly possible. Whitney is caring and has been known to drop everything she's doing to go to a friend's aid, even when that includes a plane ride. Her journey in life hadn't taken her the way she'd thought, she didn't become a lawyer but that didn't mean it didn't go exactly where she needed to be. And she believes that with everything she has. She's very family oriented so she occasionally takes it a bit hard when she's so far away from her family but there are so many visits, her back to Wisconsin and her parents and brother visiting her in New York that she's usually okay with it all. Plus she's always on the go, always busy with something or other than time, for her, passes very quickly. It feels like she's blinked and missed all of her twenties, though that is definitely not the case. She likes to think she's a romantic but the men she's dated have wined and dined her, they haven't ever romanced her and she wants to know what that's like. She's sweet and charitable and does everything she can to please the people around her though she is definitely not a pushover so she's wondering when it'll be her turn to find happiness.MOTHER: Theresa Marie Bozak & fifty six

HISTORY: Theresa and Norman didn't meet at any club or in any sort of class. Instead they met at a coffee shop where Theresa was working to pay for classes so she could become the lawyer she had always dreamed of being. Norman was sweet, came into the café when there were lulls to keep her company, talk her up, flirt. Eventually he finally built up enough nerve to ask her out and she laughed and told him it was about time. From then it was a whirlwind of a relationship. Theresa moved into Norm's apartment after only six short weeks of dating, they were engaged before they'd hit the six month mark and married within another eighteen months; and it only took that long because they were paying for the wedding themselves and needed to save up to have enough to accommodate both their families. Both families offered of course, money, advice and spouted out plenty of concern but neither Theresa nor Norman were taking any of it. They had found their soulmates and they wanted it to be official and legal as soon as possible. They had been happily married for a year when Theresa surprised Norman with the news of her pregnancy. They were ecstatic though Theresa was a little nervous. She was still in the middle of school, trying to get a leg into the world of Law and now she was also bringing a baby into the real world. It was a lot to think about but Norman promised they would be able to handle it. He was right of course, and their son was born healthy, albeit, four days later than expected. And that was pretty much how Leo went through life; late for everything. Three years later, they welcomed their second child, a beautiful little girl into the world and they felt like life was complete.
Life was pretty good for the family. Theresa worked a lot but she always made time for the family and Norm was a contractor in business for himself so he could make his own hours. Life was definitely never dull. There were sports games and practices, music, dance and swim lessons, friends and scout meetings. If there were only two kids in the house at any given time, they were doing good. Whitney didn't like being left out of the things the boys were doing, even if she was off doing something fun with her mom. So she also learned how to work with her hands and throw a good soft ball, good punch. All without breaking a nail; not that it was a concern. But she was petite, taking after her mama in that aspect and so her father knew she had be to just that little bit tougher. She might have been tiny but she was a hell of a lot tougher than she looked.
Norman and Leo were going on a weekend father/son camping trip and Little Whitney wanted to go , not understanding why Leo got to have all the fun. She chased the car into the drive and probably would have gone right out into the street if a neighbour's dog hadn't gotten free from the fenced in back garden and went for a stroll on it's own. It had been a vicious thing, that much Whitney could remember, but not much else. She reached the sidewalk, her father's car only just hitting the next driveway when the dog attacked and Whitney went down hard. She hit her head pretty hard but she didn't stop fighting the dog. Leo saw from the side mirror and screamed, not even waiting for his father to slam on the brakes before the door was open and he was flying out, rushing to his sister's side. At nine, he wasn't much against the tank of a dog but he fought valiantly. Still it took their father and one of the other neighbour's to pull Whitney free from the dog's teeth. She remembers nothing vivid about the attack, she couldn't even tell you the kind of dog it was. Whitney was taken to hospital by ambulance and sent straight into surgery to try and repair all the damage. She lost a lot of blood but she was a fighter and her mother demanded a plastic surgeon at least take a look at her daughter. She wanted the best for her little girl. There would always be scarring of course, but it would be as minimal as they could make it.
It was still pretty wicked but Whitney never let it slow her down. If people didn't like the look of it, that was just too damn bad for them. She had been young and kids are cruel but Whitney was a fighter and she didn't let them attack her. People eventually got over it and stopped seeing the scar in the summers and just saw Whitney. She joined the cheer squad in high school, as well as the field hockey team, softball team and because it didn't interfere, the volleyball team. She liked to keep busy. But before all of that, when she'd been twelve, her brother got drafted into the OHL and that took a ton of time because they had to travel to Canada if they wanted to catch a game but it was all sorts of fun for Whitney and she was able to drag friends along with her to see her brother. Both children were very athletic but Whitney had wanted to go into Law like her mother. Leo had always teased her about being a huge overachiever and she was. But he was the one in the NHL at eighteen, not her. That was better, especially when she was when she got accepted to Columbia, pre-law. She caught every home game, sitting up with the wives and family members of the team with a friend or two that she was able to drag along. It was fun and exciting.
Law was what Whitney had her heart set on. She had actually wanted to go into it to be counsel for athletes but after her freshman year, she saw her first taste of the rest of her life. Her foray into the business side of sports was a total accident actually. Her brother's agent's office was looking for a part time receptionist and she was needing something fill the spare time she had between her classes and took the job on. She sat in on a meeting that happened to change her entire life. She spoke up when no one else seemed to have any ideas and before she knew it she had her own office, a cosy raise that included a personal driver and an expense account. Because she was young, she could connect with the younger talent that they were trying to sign, get on their level to show them what they were trying to do. Shortly after that, Whitney transferred to NYU and took on a PR major. Now at twenty eight, Whitney has the highest number of clients in the entire firm, her brother included and she's constantly searching out more. But there's also more to life than work, she just hasn't quite realised it yet; not even when she's playing floor hockey with her nephews or Tea Party with her niece.
