This can also lead him to be rather stubborn at times, as he gets so involved he forgets to see the big picture. His father also raised him to be a true gentleman and Greyson prides himself on keeping up chivalry, his classy appearance, and polite mannerisms. HISTORY:
Born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Greyson was the product of a one-night-stand gone very wrong. His mother was a ballerina for the Russian Ballet Company and his father was a young college student on tour to visit some family. They caught each other’s eyes, and Greyson was screaming into the world 9 months later.
From the moment he knew he was going to become a father, Michael fought to receive full custody of his son. He knew Elena wasn’t fit to take care of a child; that much was proven true in his short interactions with her after they’d both become sober. It was revealed the ballerina had a myriad of mental issues that got conveniently ignored by many to keep her career moving forward. Michael, however, refused to let his son stay with her and, after obtaining full custody, whisked Greyson back home to the states. A few months later, he received a letter from the Company’s manager apologizing sincerely for the death of the beloved ballerina and establishing Greyson as the heir to her small fortune. It was the only good thing the woman ever did for her son.
Other than the crazed ballerina mother, Greyson’s childhood was relatively normal. Though Michael was young, he took responsibility for his son and made sure to give them as comfortable a life as possible. They lived in a decent apartment in Brooklyn, while Michael worked tirelessly in a law firm where his uncle was a partner.
It didn’t take long for the other half of Greyson’s genes to kick in. From the time his aunt dragged him and his father to a ballet in the city, Greyson was in love with ballet. The movement and intricate choreography fascinated him. Much to his father’s heartache, he soon found himself in a dance class. This developed into a passion that led him throughout his upbringing, getting him into the best arts schools New York could offer. As his father earned more money to support his son, he ensured Greyson had only the best. He didn’t touch a penny of his son’s fortune, saving it for college or whatever Greyson chose, but the young dancer still found himself shining in the ballet world.
Sometime in his high school years, his father remarried a woman named Miranda Snowe. She worked for the law firm and the two clicked naturally. Greyson had never had a strong female figure in his life, but he adapted rather quickly and soon considered Miranda a mother. The hardest part was getting along with his new step sisters, who have now become his true sisters. They bickered in the beginning, but not the children get along well and the family has become the traditional group Michael always wanted.
Soon after, college came around. Greyson attended the Julliard School for Dance, graduating and earning his way into the New York Ballet Company. He moved out of his father’s apartment shortly after graduation, getting his own flat in the heart of New York and finally putting his small fortune to use. He was recently promoted to Principal dancer, now spending his days at the Company as he works tirelessly to make sure only his best comes out on stage. His life is full of rehearsals, dance classes, and his two dogs, whose names hint at his Russian roots. And, while he holds his own in the dance world, he’s never told anyone of his relation to the famous tragedy that was his mother, though it’s clear her skills and grace were passed down to her son.
