MONTY JADA SHEEHAN
FULL NAME: Harmony Jada Sheehan
NICKNAMES: Monty
AGE: Twenty Three
GENDER: female
SEXUALITY: Straight
STATUS: Single
GROUP: Citizen
GRADE: N/A
MAJOR: N/A.
JOB OCCUPATION: Music Producer for Valley Records
HAIR: Monty's hair is a light brown with bits of blonde. She changes it when the mood strikes but it's naturally that in between shade. And she prefers it longer rather than shorter but she can say she's at least tried it.
EYES: blue.
SCARS/BIRTHMARKS: some from a curious childhood but nothing really epic.
TATTOOS: If any.
PIERCINGS: surprisingly just her ears.
PLAY-BY: Anna Kendrick!
LIKES: music, frothy coffee drinks, spiced rum, fruity perfumes, bracelets, oversized headphones, permanent markers, knitted and crocheted things (She can't do either herself), a big fry up in the mornings, open mic nights, karaoke, hard liquor, converse, skinny jeans, green ea with a bit of sugar, signing a new band, scouting, combat boots
DISLIKES: skirts, most teas, designer labels (or most of them anyway), stilettos, her computer freezing, failing to land a new band, ceramic figurines, clowns, spiders, ignorant people, losing her voice, dressing up, long phone calls, burning breakfast (its the only thing she can cook well), celebrities with massive egos
FEARS: clown, getting hit by a car, being alone
SECRETS: Monty can't have any mirrors facing her bed. She's got one in her bedroom but it's spun to face the wall unless she's using it. She even deliberately chose bedroom furniture without attached mirrors. Her sister and her friend's scared her so bad one night when she'd been ten with a tale of Bloody Mary that she'd never quite recovered from it.
PERSONALITY: Monty is as clever as the sun is bright when it comes to music. She can't play it all and will be the first to admit it but she can carry a tune well enough and though she's never wanted to be behind the microphone, her pitch is spot on. A feisty little thing from Knoxville, Tennessee, Monty will be the first to toss in a sarcastic quip. She can be downright demonic when she's not had her coffee and maybe that's where the rumours of her being a tad on the heartless side originates from. Or maybe it's the temperamental attitude she habitually throws around. When it comes to music however, she lights right up, becoming inspired by the smallest of things. She really is a creative soul and just wants to give the world the best there is out there. Despite her very cheeky nature, Monty can be quite the charming young woman. She can be quite the flirt but it's not all she's about, though she secretly wishes there was a man out there that would sweep her off her feet and romance her. It's not something she tells a single soul and she barely admits it to herself, but it's the honest truth of the matter. She's got a sweet side as well, especially towards the bands she's charged with. Of course, they're also the ones that see that other side of her that hides that nasty temper when something isn't going the way she'd like. It's almost always directed inwards, towards herself because she knows she's capable of the ideas she has rushing around her head like hamsters on wheels though she will admit, she has lashed out from time to time and felt completely horrible about it afterwards. It's just that she can become so focused on her work that she develops tunnel vision.

HISTORY: Harmony Jada Sheehan was the second child for Shirley and Stephen Sheehan, a young couple with a six year old little girl already. Hailey had wanted a pony, instead she got a little sister. She was a resentful little girl, having her parents attention taken away from her but they tried to show both their little girls how much they cared and loved them. Harmony of course, was an infant and didn't give a damn about any of it. She cared about sleep and food and maybe a little bit of swing time. That was all. She did however, become a curious toddler, always getting into the little nooks and crannies of their home or out in the garden discovering new things. At two, she happily, proudly brought a Garter snake into the house to show off to her mommy and daddy. One screamed and jumped onto the kitchen counter, the other laughed loudly before taking the small snake from his daughter and returning it to the back garden. It was a story that still got told around the holidays and Monty is still very proud of that fact. Hailey hadn't been home or her parents suspected, they would have had two screaming girls in the house. But she was always like that, bringing things into the house to show off, so much more a tomboy than she ever was a dress wearing little debutante like her big sister.
She tried soccer when she'd been younger and dance of course because it seemed like a prerequisite to being a little girl but neither stuck for her. Her mother thought she was built for dance but Monty much preferred crawling around in the dirt, exploring and eventually her parents thought she might grow up to become some sort of Indiana Jones. The most exciting and terrifying thing to ever happen to Monty occurred when she was ten. Hailey had a sleepover with a few friends and the group of them frightened Monty so badly, she ended up having nightmares for an entire year, almost nightly. She would have a night free of the fright and think finally, she was working it out and getting over it, at least that's what her parents would tell her and then she would wake up in the middle of the night screaming bloody murder to wake the dead along with her. Her nightmares were quite vivid of Bloody Mary coming through the mirror into her room and dragging her back through with her, trapping her forever or of her own reflection looking out at her and watching her while she went about her daily business completely unaware, waiting for the best moment to attack and drag her back into the mirror with her. The nightmares absolutely ruined Alice in Wonderland as well, which was a terrible shame. Taking the mirrors out of her room helped a little bit, as did the therapy her parents brought her to. It was during one of these sessions that her doctor suggested music.
There were plenty of studies to show how music did help and thought it was as good an idea as any since they'd been scratching their heads trying to come up with a plan. Music helped Monty cope and eventually the nightmares became less and less frequent until they were nearly nonexistent. Even now though, she'll still wake up in a cold sweat from one of her old night terrors. But it's now very few and very far between. However, her parents still get a phone call, waking them up in the middle of the night back in Knoxville to talk it out. Thankfully, they listened to her and calmed her down and told her everything was okay because it was all just a dream and she was awake once again. High school was a little bit different for Harmony. She auditioned for an arts school, gearing a programme towards music for herself. She was quite good and knew with the proper tutelage, she could be better. From there she was accepted to Tisch's programme for recorded music which was exactly what Monty had been after. It was a programme all its own kind and she had wanted beyond anything else to get accepted. When she did, she squealed like the girl she actually was!
With the help of her father, Monty packed up the few things she was actually taking with her and drove off for New York with her parents in tow. They wanted to see the apartment she'd rented in a building geared for students that was quite close to the building her classes her housed and they helped her set it all up, make it her own. The rent was decent enough, easily kept up with a part time job but her parents promised to take care of her housing while she was attending school so she wouldn't have to worry about a part time job and she could get to studying her brains out. The next four years flew by. It seemed to Monty as though she blinked and she was walking across the stage, accepting her diploma and shaking hands with the dean and everyone else. Straight out of school, she landed herself a job with Valley Records and considered herself damn lucky. A year later, she'd climbed up the ladder high enough to be in charge of a few bands, becoming their producer and working with them on a one on one level to make their records the best they could imagine. Now at twenty three, Monty isn't sure how life could get better than what she's got now.
