DISLIKES: facial piercings, bad weather, wearing bright colours, immaturity, lechers, fur clothing, ruining a pair of shoes, gory movies, bad tans, bad moods, sports fanatics, marionettes, cheap jewellery, hospital treatment, taking pills, feeling used, having her emotions played with, being called a bitch, bad hair days, her dad finding out what she’s been up to, whiny people, tomatoes.

SECRETS: Her fear of marionettes stems from her brother’s eighth birthday party. She’s completely freaked out by them and even now she’ll freeze up and have an uncontrollable panic attack that she finds completely embarrassing to admit to. Even Christmas Grottos and displays are enough to bring this fear out of her and she’s too ashamed to actually tell anyone about it!
PERSONALITY: As most people expect once they recognise the name or the face, Ronnie has been spoilt her whole life. She plays daddy’s little girl as though she could make a living out of it and it’s only recently that she’s found herself wanting more from her life. She’s a party girl who is more concerned with having a good time than worrying about how serious life could possibly get. She is ambitious though, and isn’t afraid to step over others to get what she wants. Ronnie is creative, but people only see that about her once she’s working on her latest project; she isn’t the type of girl to keep a sketchbook in her bag, although her mind is constantly perfecting and scrutinising the fashion world around her. She can be quite the perfectionist when it comes to her own creations and her own style. She’s the girl who will wash her hair and start all over again if it’s not doing what she likes. She’s vocal and has an opinion on trivial things rather than world changing events. She’s the friend who will tell you if a dress doesn’t compliment your figure or if you’re coming across as desperate while flirting. Flirtatious to the core, Ronnie is rather proud that she can charm free drinks and bat her eyelids to get her way. She gets a bit of a thrill from reeling men in only to let them go again after she’s had enough of them. Despite the confidence that she walks down the street with, a lot of her personality that could be determined as bitchy is actually down to her own insecurities. She rarely brings them up, but there is a little voice that is constantly nitpicking at every little thing she does and it sometimes overwhelms Ronnie enough that she’ll reject people in her life, even if she cares about them. She’s always been able to have everything she’s wished for, so she still dreams that one day she can have the happy family, the dream career and anything and everything else in between. It’ll take quite a lot to stop her from getting that, too. Ronnie is as determined and stubborn as she is rich.

HISTORY: Most people would assume that Veronica would have the perfect little life, since she was the daughter of a rock musician and a retired-but-not fashion model. They would be right, too; at least on the surface. If there was one thing Ronnie knew all about from the moment she could understand it, it was that appearances were everything. She saw her mom freak out at a bad photograph that suggested she’d put on a few pounds or that she was getting old. She heard her dad calming down his band mates and his agent at the record company whenever a photographer snapped them having a little too much fun at a post award show party. Ronnie and her brother couldn’t be caught with a toe out of line if there was even the slightest possibility of the camera being around. It wasn’t even for their benefit, but for the benefit of their parent’s reputations.
She was the spoilt little daddy’s girl everyone thought she would be. She asked, he snapped his fingers, it was hers. There wasn’t very much for a little girl to complain about. Kendall taunted and teased her like any older brother should, and she would stop her tiny heels on his feet when he got in her way. Considering the level of fame their parents held, they did a pretty good job of keeping their son and daughter out of the limelight; at least at first. They flew all over the world for vacations and work and Veronica and Kendall had quite the life for two little kids, though they couldn’t understand the fuss and the fame. They had the best of everything; nannies, private schools, birthday cakes…you name it and Madison and Jonah treated their children to nothing less than the best.
As Veronica grew a little older it started to become obvious that she was going to resemble her mother more than the father she had wrapped around her little finger. Madison, knowing that her own looks were fading and that plastic surgery could only take her so far, began to mould Ronnie into the perfect little mini-model. Jonah thought she ought to be left to grow up like every other little kid and get the scraped knees and bruises, but he was away on tour more than he was home and Veronica was left at the hands of her obsessed mother, who would put the little girl into dresses and teach her how to walk in heels and tame the unruly curls that often refused to stay in the braid her nanny put in each morning. Madison took her along to shows and shoots to let the little girl see what life had in store for her and then she wasted no time in putting little Ronnie in for children shoots. Ronnie, though well behaved, often found her eyes travelling over to the designer’s tables though and when she could sneak away from her overbearing mother for five minutes, would curiously ask what they were doing and look through some of the sketches they were working on. She would always be dragged back to the cameras, but she loved looking at those designs.
By the time Ronnie started high school it seemed as though everyone knew her because of her parents. It almost paved the way for the younger sibling, who also had her brother’s reputation to live up to. Kendall had been the son everyone had expected him to be given the family he came from; charming, played the drums and has all the right hook ups to make the best parties happen. She was still modelling at the request of her mother, but Ronnie had to admit that she enjoyed dressing up and acting in front of the cameras, even if it was just for a day out of the month. Still, things were different and Ronnie was growing up. Part of that came with making bad choices and doing some questionable things. She partied, followed the popular crowd and broke the rules just to get the same kicks that she knew all of her family had lived through at some time or another. It was nothing too out of hand, but she did say ‘yes’ to pretty much everything and soon had quite the reputation as the party girl, with some people even saying that it was inevitable, given the rock star she had for a father and the fashion model mother. She ended up getting suspended from school from having a flask of vodka on the premises and that was when her dad stepped in. He was a lenient guy who had let Ronnie do what she pleased for most of her life, but there was a look of disappointment in his eyes that made her feel sick to her stomach; she never wanted to see it again. She still partied and had fun like most teenagers, but she had a line now that she refused to cross; just because she was ‘that daughter’ didn’t mean she had to act like it 24/7.
By the time senior year rolled around, Ronnie had quite the life. She was well liked, had a decent modelling career on the rise and was making a name for herself that didn’t hang off the back off her parents. However, as Madison slipped away from the centre stage and her daughter took over, she developed a rather nasty case of the green eyed monster. It was one thing to have a pretty daughter, but to have a daughter who was prettier than she was? Oh, no. Suddenly, Madison was picking at every little thing Veronica did and kept trying to put the teenager down. She was “too tall” to ever find a man, her hair didn’t suit that style, the last photo shoot had her looking a little on the “chubby” side…for everything Veronica did, Madison had a criticism to make about it. It broke the relationship they had once shared and Ronnie could hardly stand to be around the woman who she called her mother. However, by breaking her daughter’s self-esteem, Madison opened more doors than she realised.
Ronnie began noticing things. Nothing major, but her mom’s criticisms of her figure rung in her head even when she didn’t want to hear them. She pointed out the accessories that went better with whatever outfit the designers were throwing her in for a shoot, spoke up if she thought something didn’t feel right and became a lot more conscious about what she was wearing and how she was wearing it. She would point things out about designs she wasn’t even modelling, too and eventually, born from this, was the idea of hanging up her runway days and slipping into designing herself. She had missed the college application process straight out of high school, still believing at that time that her career was posing for photos and perfecting her pout. That began to change though, and she spent more time hanging around the table with the designers, like when she was a little girl. One of them took more notice of the young blonde than the others and began asking her opinion on things or how she would change something simple into something more sophisticated. He noticed that Ronnie had an eye for detail and a knack that he hadn’t seen in some time for designing. One day, he came in and handed her a sketchpad and told her that he wanted to see what she could do. She was nervous at first, and only managed a few basic sketches, but the potential was there and he guided her through the year, showing her the ropes and getting her more involved with fabrics and the process in turning a length of material into a dress.
She began looking at schools, wanting to major in fashion and began dreaming of her own fashion line or boutique. For so many years she had modelled because it was just expected of her and now she finally had a dream and an ambition of her own that didn’t ride on the fame of her family. Jonah loved the idea and even had her design the clothing merchandise for the band and their “last ever tour”, though she suspected he’d be on the road until he died. Madison, on the other hand, found it “utterly ridiculous” that someone of Veronica’s potential was going to step away from the camera and the runways to do this. Ronnie thought Madison might have been pleased that she couldn’t steal the “fame” away from her, but apparently it was worse that she was going to build something all on her own without Madison’s help.
Ronnie was accepted to NYU to study fashion, which was her first choice. She loved the city and began to make a nice life for herself there. Her dad bought her a secure apartment and made sure that she had everything she needed to survive on her own in the city and Kendall drove down every now and then to party with his little sister and to deal with any trouble that might have come her way, even if Ronnie had it under control. She partied, lived like any other college kid and worked New York like she had lived there her whole life.
Ronnie knows what she wants and she knows she’ll have to be ruthless to get there. The only thing that she’s afraid of is turning into something like her mom, or failing and having to admit up to it. Right now, she’s a junior and making sure that people remember her for the person she is rather than the people she comes from!
