GENDER: Male.
SEXUALITY: Straight.
STATUS: Single.
GROUP: Student.

JOB OCCUPATION: Bouncer at Marquee.HAIR: Blonde, short and kind of scruffy looking. He doesn’t do much with it in the mornings and it’s a look that works for him, oddly enough. He rocks the bedhead.
EYES: Blue.
SCARS/BIRTHMARKS: He has some on his forehead and above his eyes – all from sports related accidents. One was from dropping a weight on himself in the gym, another was a surfing accident, and a third was from crashing his brother’s dirt bike into a fence back when he was a teenager.
TATTOOS: Nautical star on his back. The second is a large cross with wings and the scale of justice on it on his arm. He had writing added just above it that says ‘Saint Christopher, protect us’ in Latin – his brother has the same one.
PIERCINGS: None.
PLAY-BY: Max Thieriot!LIKES: Football, spicy chicken wings, homemade beer, wrestling, hanging with his brother, his leather jacket, whiskey, gym training, surfing, dirt bikes, nights when he’s not working, watching athletics, running in the rain, pumpkin soup, mint ice cream, internet memes, his car, banana smoothies.

FEARS: His brother getting sick again/dying, mole rats, radiation poisoning.
SECRETS: He can do pretty good bird impressions. He finds it weird, so he doesn’t share it with anyone.
PERSONALITY: Pearson considers himself to be a reformed ass. He’s changed from the kid he used to be, and he believes it’s for the better. He’s athletic and works hard to keep himself in good shape. He’s quiet, but that’s usually because he’s exhausted by the time he’s crammed a day of classes, the gym, and work into one day. Protective, too, Pearson won’t hesitate to throw a punch or start a fight with someone who bullies or upsets the people he’s closest to. They mean the world to him and he won’t let anyone hurt them and get away with it. He can be impatient and hasty a lot of the time, which means his impulsive actions can ruin a good thing or land him in trouble, but he is trying to be a good person these days. He’s a pro at miscommunication a lot of the time, but friends are usually experts themselves in understanding what he meant to say most of the time. A hot flirt, Pearson definitely finds time for the ladies, but he has a problem of getting bored with them after a few dates. He’s tired of the monotony of relationships despite his young age, and he needs something that can keep him thrilled, rather than someone who spills all their secrets and reveals everything after three dates.MOTHER: Brigid Ann Simpson, 49.
FATHER: Grant Lincoln Simpson, 51.
SIBLINGS: Shaun Denzel Simpson, 27.
OTHERS: N/A.
PETS: None – he doesn’t have the time!

HISTORY: Brigid and Grant were high school sweethearts who married young and set up their little life in Tampa Bay where they had both been born and raised. Grant was a minor league footballer who eventually went on to teach the sport at college, while Brigid worked for a make-up company, climbing the ranks to one of their most senior positions. She was a rather vain woman, but she never realised it, and her popularity from high school seemed to last throughout her life, too. The couple had two sons; Shaun, and Pearson.
Both boy were raised to love sports. Shaun played football and Pearson became a star member of the high school wrestling team. They were popular boys who inherited their father’s good looks and mother’s charisma. Even when they were infants they had people wrapped around their little fingers. However, while Shaun was a popular kid who got along with everyone, Pearson was more of an asshole. He wasn’t afraid to make fun of someone, or tease a kid for what they were wearing or the dumb answer they came out with in class. It was part of the arrangement with their parents that they would keep their grades in the top range at school or else they’d be pulled from their respective teams, but Pearson always acted more like a jock than a brain, never letting on to his peers that he could be clever if he chose to be. He always feared it would damage his credibility and put him on the wrong side of the harsh jokes and bullying remarks.
When Pearson was seventeen, Shaun fell sick. He collapsed on the field at his college game and was rushed to hospital. Pearson had always been close to his brother and they were practically best friends, despite the few differences they had. At the hospital the doctors ran tests and Shaun admitted to feeling run down for a while, but not doing anything about it because of his sport scholarship – he didn’t want to lose it. It was revealed that he had leukaemia; news that shocked the family to the core. The doctors would never give them good or bad news, but always seemed deliberately vague about things when Shaun started undergoing the treatment to fight off the disease. During all of this, Pearson began to realise just how much of a bastard he had been to people he went to school with – those who weren’t in the popular circle. His brother had never been like that and so he took a leaf out of his book and did his best to change his ways. People always thought it was part of some cruel prank to come, or a condescending joke, but Pearson wanted to be more like Shaun now.
Shaun, thankfully, got better, and the brothers were closer than ever. Pearson deferred his freshman year of college to help his brother through the treatment and then to rebuild his life a bit. He wasn’t playing football anymore which left Shaun feeling a little lost and he needed Pearson to help him through as much as possible. The brothers got their matching tattoo, with a blank space for each other’s name – with a loving but sombre promise to ink the name in of the other when the unimaginable happened to them, both hoping that the day would never come until they were both too old to tolerate the pain of a tattoo.
Eventually, Shaun shooed Pearson off to college. Pearson was already planning on NYU, but he changed his major from sport science to Physical Therapy because he wanted to help people after changing his ways and seeing all that his brother went through. He could never be a doctor, but his passion for sports and existing knowledge and grades made him good for the cause. He got himself a spot on the wrestling team, and a job at Starbuck to pay the rent for his small apartment. Alas, the job didn’t pan out since he hated just about everything there. The customers were horrible, and management drove him up the wall. So he left, and needing a job quickly ended up working as a bouncer at the Marquee club, supposedly filling in for a few weeks until their regular guy could come back – he was off sick at the time. However, the guy never returned and Pearson was kept on.
He's a junior now, most of the time exhausted, but he won’t change what he has out of the worry that there might not be another job that pays as well. Plus, it’s only another year and then he’ll graduate. Right?
