HISTORY: Tatiana, or Camilla as you know her, was born in Samara, Russia twenty-five-years ago. She was born to Valeriy and Andrei Markovic. Mr. Markovic had an interesting job. He was a high-profile criminal that the police were too afraid of to arrest. People in town knew who they were and what he was capable of. Andrei led a high profile life, as well. He wanted the best for his two beautiful children and his gorgeous wife. He made sure that they were happy and fed. Andrei made sure they had everything they needed plus more. They had the nicest clothes, the best maids, the nicest toys. Nothing was too good for his family. Things changed for the prominent family when Tatiana was only five-years-old.

Her father became a prime suspect and witness to a murder case. He was finally caught and charged with everything they could possibly put on him. His family, though, was left to defend themselves. Their house was crowded with victims families of people that Andrei had hurt or killed. They tried to break into their house and kill them, but luckily the local police force had been around their property to stop that from happening. During his trial, they basically lived at the court house. Mikheil and Tatiana were accompanied by nannies and security while their mother sat in the room with her husband, trying to straighten everything out. Andrei ended up getting a plea deal, but he would be exiled to France. He took the plea, and off he and his family went.

They tried starting over in France. Andrei made his living by doing good, honest work now. He became an officer in France, which was ironic. They had changed their names and made a new life for themselves. They lived under the radar for about five years. They had a decent house, decent school, and a decent life. It was a lot different from when they were younger. When Camilla turned ten, she had a birthday party at their house. The police force had crashed it, sadly, arresting the entire family. They were charged for fraud, and then when they told their story, they were kicked out of the country, never to return again. Never allowed to return again.

So, Andrei (now Colin) reached out to the United States government. They agreed to help the family out, placing them in the witness protection program. They placed Colin in a government job, making the salary he made in Russia. Valeriy was now named Brigette. Mikheil became Lennox. Tatianna became Camilla. They were trained extensively so they wouldn’t slip up about their pasts. They were placed in Washington D.C. to live. Camilla liked it in the bigger city. It felt more nature to her than living in France or Russia. She loved going to the museums, eating at the restaurants. She enjoyed school, probably more than the average American kid would’ve.

Lennox and Camilla went to school together. Lennox wasn’t so much of a learner, but more of a leader like his father. He wasn’t a jock, really, but more of a debate team member. Camilla was into sciences and math. The thought processes that went along with the two made her heart swell. High school was pretty much a breeze compared to the rest of their life. There weren’t too many tragic things in their life, other than the beginning of it. Lennox and Camilla both graduated from high school and went off to college. Camilla had chosen NYU to be her school of choice, and Lennox had chosen Harvard. He went into law while Camilla went into biophysics.

After going to master’s school, Camilla decided that she wanted to be an independent scientist, which meant she needed her Ph.D. She moved out of the dorms (finally, after living there for six years), and she adopted a puppy to keep her company. Now, she’s enrolled in the Ph.D. program at NYU, which means that she’s just working on her dissertation and working in order to live.
