PERSONALITY: Keeran isn’t at all what anyone would expect. He doesn’t care at all about his appearance. Other people’s perception of him amuses him to no end. He’s certainly not vain but he’s aware he’s quite attractive and uses it to his advantage for his job. He’s a photographer and loves nature for its beauty. But he can be quite ridiculous, too and will happily admit to being an adrenaline junkie. If its dangerous, he’s done it at least once. He’s an intelligent man who is well aware that there’s more to life than a regular old nine to five gig. And Keeran definitely doesn’t want a desk job, wondering how the hell he would find the time to get away and travel. He can do that and get paid for it! Of course, there’s another side to the Englishman. He’s a stubborn, never giving up on anything until he’s gotten whatever it was he wanted. He’s a respectful gentleman but at the same time he still acts like a frat boy. He’s young still and believes he has a lot of time before settling down is the norm. He’s outrageous, jumping off cliffs, throwing himself off bridges, doing whatever he can to get his heart rate sky rocketing. Keeran is a charming one, who knows just what to say in nearly any situation. But he’s not manipulative or conniving, he’s too genuine for that. He can be quite the trickster, using jokes and whatever means necessary to get a smile on someone’s face. He’s a loyal person to have as a friend and will stick up for those few people he considers real friends. He’s friendly enough to just about everyone but you’ve only really got one chance with Keeran. He’s a good judge of character and couldn’t care less if you make a complete ass about yourself during that first meeting, he can look past that but there’s are those few who just push the wrong buttons for Keeran. Those ones are usually the ones that see those rare flashes of temper come to light. Currently this sweet, closet romantic is still testing the waters of New York.MOTHER: Tiffany Lewis & 66.

HISTORY: Russell and Tiffany had met in college but they had only been friends back then. When college was over, they went their separate ways for about ten years before they’d come face to face with each other at a museum benefit. Tiffany was the curator while Russell had put some of his family’s pieces on loan for the exhibit. Now the CEO of his family’s business, Russell finally found his voice and told Tiffany hold he’d felt about her back in school. She laughed, not because she found it hilarious that Russell had feelings for her back then but because she’d also had a bit of a crush on him but thought she would never be good enough for him and his family. His father was a Lord, after all while her family had a small clothing shop in Bristol. Within three years, they were married and had a son they’d named Rafe. All was well in their world. But four years later, Tiffany surprised her husband and son with the news that she was pregnant.
They’d been in Bristol, visiting her parents when she went into labour and was rushed to the nearest hospital. Eighteen and a half hours later, Keeran came into this world, kicking and screaming. All ten fingers and toes were intact and Russell and Tiffany were so proud they’d done it once again. Russell had to return to London to make arrangements so he could return to Bristol and spend some time with his family while Tiffany stayed there with her parents for a few months. Keeran was six months when they decided it was time to return to their real lives. Rafe was going to be starting school and they had so much to do to prepare for it. Life was busy but it was theirs. Keeran was a precocious child, getting himself into just about everything. Even from a young age he’d been after the high that came with dangerous stunts. He would climb the tree in the back garden just to jump out of it and see what happened next and so much more.
Photography hadn’t been a consideration until he’d been a teenager. Thirteen years old, he’d been out with his gram and getting the latest lecture about being a responsible young man when he’d seen a camera in the store and he decided to fiddle with it. He completely zoned out on his grandmother who figured if she couldn’t beat Keeran at the game, she would get on his level. So they started talking about cameras and photography and at the end of their day out, she asked him if he would keep up photography if she bought him a camera. He took the time to think about that because it had been the first time he’d ever really thought about it. But he decided it was something that interested him. He took pictures all the time but he’d never really thought about it. So he went to his grandmother and said he would keep at photography if she bought him a camera. Smiling, his gram opened a desk drawer and produced the camera they’d seen in the shop with all sorts of extra accessories.
A few years later, Keeran got in with an interesting crowd. They did all sorts of stunts and acted like complete idiots all for the name of adrenaline. That never changed though his location did. He moved out to attend school in Scotland, spending his summers traveling through Europe until he graduated. And when that happened, he had been lucky enough to have a job lined up back in London as a magazine. It was a small magazine in need of a photographer quickly. Keeran had enough experience to satisfy them so they paid him to take pictures for them; both in studio and on location. But their locations were only around London. And that wasn’t good enough for him. He was young and though not crazy, he did want to travel the world. So he started looking around, seeing where he could do and stumbled upon an opening at the New Yorker. He applied, went through a phone interview and a Skype interview and after discussions on salary and ideas on assignments, Keeran accepted the offer and packed up all his things. He lived out of a hotel for a couple weeks until he found a flat he liked and had the space he needed to work. His assignments after that took him all over the world, putting him in some dangerous situations, some not so dangerous situations and some situations he wished he could stay in for a hell of a lot longer than he had been.
Russell and Tiffany had their safe child in Keeran’s brother Rafe who had become a lawyer back in London. So he didn’t feel like he needed to play it safe in life. Rafe had his wife, had a baby on the way. He was the safe one, the responsible one. He was the one everyone went to when they were having any sort of issue. So Keeran became the guy he always was and loved it. He traveled, he took pictures, he partied and he got paid for it all. He didn’t live anywhere near his family, which sucked but also afforded him the freedom he’d been after back in the UK. And now at twenty eight, Keeran is perfectly happy to continue living the way he had been for the past five years since his move to New York.
