SCARS/BIRTHMARKS: Nothing of great note.
TATTOOS: He has several, but there’s no one who has seen all of them and no one knows what they all mean. He’s mysterious like that, and honestly he keeps them covered most of the time since he doesn’t want them being his identifiers. Plus, he got them for himself, no one else.

PLAY-BY: Wes Bentley!LIKES: whiskey, pomade, codes, classic motorbikes, security systems, tai chi, allegory, pomegranates, tunnel systems, Fiji, watches, cufflinks, the colour black, base jumping, being well dressed, a good take, an adrenaline rush, Italian dishes, Egyptian cotton, women falling for his allure, listening to people’s conversations, bread and butter.
DISLIKES: berries, dry meats, sweatpants, being bossed about, a world reliant on social media, loud music, cheap tools, simple jobs, tech gurus, cheaters, cats, cheap coffee, drugs, burning an identity, feeling sleepy, cell phones, video games, getting sick, celery, remakes of classic movies, too many questions, horses, being lied to.
FEARS: guns, sharks, losing his mobility.
SECRETS: Obviously the whole part about being from a family of con artists and thieves is something he keeps quiet about, along with his own skills of the illegal kind.
PERSONALITY: Tallon is a mysterious man who keeps most of his thoughts to himself. He rarely reveals any truths about himself, and often makes it abundantly clear that he’s not the type of man who will pour his heart out to someone. Despite playing his cards close to his chest, Tallon still manages to be charming as hell, devilishly so. He’s educated and cultured and can talk for hours about things that aren’t himself. He’s a massive risk-taker who fears very little in the way of getting caught or death. He’s ambitious and definitely doesn’t think that anything, or anyone, is out of his league. Independent, in recent years, Tallon has proven to himself and others that he doesn’t need the family to pull off some of the best heists around the world, and since then has a little bit of trouble slipping back into his role as a team player. He’s a little on the arrogant side at times, even if he doesn’t speak of his successes, it’s there in his eyes or his appearance. Pride in everything he does is important to Tallon and he won’t be a part of something he can’t feel a little bit proud of, just like he won’t dress in something he can’t be proud of. Creative, none of his stunts are average or expected and Tallon frequently tries to outdo himself. He also thrives on a challenge and adores being told that something is unbreakable or unsolvable – he’ll usually set out to prove them wrong. He doesn’t appear to have a temper on the surface, but Tallon lets it simmer instead. He’s also lethal. He might not literally murder someone (It’s too messy and lacks elegance), but he’ll set up a chain reaction that will kill their life in some way if they give him reason to. It doesn’t have to be a great deal either. Just piss him off at the wrong time, or upset someone he cares about and he’ll ruin a life. Tallon might not show his emotions well, but that’s because he’s excellent at masking them. Tallon is more interested in keeping romantic relationships casual though. With his ‘line of work’ there’s not much room for anything serious, even though he does enjoy reeling a girl in and revelling in the victory of seducing her.MOTHER: Adele Francesca Hale, 62.
FATHER: Bertrand Richmond Hale, 64.
SIBLINGS: N/A.
OTHERS: There are the cousins and the rest of the family.
PETS: None!
HOMETOWN: Paris, France.
HISTORY: Tallon was born into a world of cons and heists. His parents and the rest of his father’s family were thieves and con artists, and they were damn good at it. It was how Bertrand had met Adele, but Tallon was never made fully aware of those details since his mother always told a totally different story to his father. All he ever knew for sure was that they had met during a job in Northern Italy, and Adele had been brought in for her particular skillset at the time and never left. The rest of the story varied depending on who he asked. Eventually he just stopped thinking about the past, and instead focused on the future and his role in the family.
As a child he was best as a decoy and a lookout, and for the most part he just spent years being home schooled by various relatives and learning the tricks of their trade. Smaller jobs he might be allowed to help on, play a distraction in the street or watch almost invisibly in case anyone was looking out for his older, more experienced family members. When he was older he managed to learn more, hone his skills. It turned out that Tallon was pretty good at cracking codes and combinations for security systems, which also led the way for one of his uncles showing him how to use the tools they had to break into safes. Not all of them could be easily done with a quick mental puzzle, so Tallon needed to be trained up. He took to it well, and soon could head out as a main member of a crew to pull off a job and return home with a decent haul.
He hadn’t been in the game all that long when the incident in Brazil went down. Tallon hadn’t long come back from England and was taking a break, helping his dad and another uncle pick their next job. It shocked him what had happened, but Tallon struggled to lay low like the rest of his family. He saw infamous criminals who were the best of their kind forced into hiding, picking pockets and robbing simple houses just to keep their minds sharp. So, one night he went out and simply never came back.
Tallon made his way across Europe, pulling small jobs here and there. He was nervous going at it alone at nineteen, but he knew what he was doing. He caused a stir a few times, but he knew enough to never get caught. The heat never got near him, and he even managed to frame a few people who he knew had screwed cousins over, or at least had tried to in the past. The family looked out for each other and usually things like that were stopped before anything actually happened, but Tal had always felt like they had never done enough to make their point before now. When he was done with Europe he boarded a plane under a false name and headed off elsewhere.
For the next decade he moved around. He set up a home in Fiji, but travelled regularly to pull off jobs. If he needed extra man power he would call in cousins as and when he needed them, but then he would be gone without a trace the moment the job was done. Tallon basically kept his distance from the family and became more of an elusive mystery to them. It was probably a good thing. He started chasing bigger scores, taking larger risks. He was never caught, but there were close calls and most of his plans involved tricky exit strategies or were completely insane to begin with. Tallon loved the adrenaline rush though.
He’s got his eyes set on America currently, and there’s a list of jobs a mile long that he would love to pull off. He’s been waiting for the right moment though, and now it’s finally here he’s bought an apartment out of New York to operate from, though the likelihood of him staying in the city is slim. Tallon breezes through one place and onto the next before people can realise he’s even arrived.
