PERSONALITY:
With a smile on her face most of the time, Kimmie is a bubbly girl. She hates the feeling of being mad or sad, so she usually tries to think only happy thoughts. Most of the time it works, but once in a while negative thoughts does make it's way into her mind, but all in all she's a very nice girl. Friendly and honest, Kimmie is an open book. She doesn't hide much from her life. It's an odd time when she keeps secrets. She just doesn't believe in keeping secrets. In return, she kinda expects the other person to also be an open book, getting upset when they're not.

Another thing Kimmie hates is breaking promises. It doesn't matter if it's just a small promise, she still wouldn't break it. Honesty is something Kimmie believes in to the very end. She hates when people make promises and than break them. She doesn't understand how people can do that. She fully believes that if people kept their promises the world were be a better place. Kimmie is also very driven, she doesn't give up easily and will fight for what she wants. It's a rare time Kimmie gives up on something, but when she does she can get quite upset about it.

HISTORY: Eric and Mary met in their second year of high school, and quickly became friends, but it wasn't until five years later that they started dated. And three years later, they were married. They wanted to start a family right away, but they tried everything, and couldn't get pregnant. They soon found out that Eric had cancer, something that run in his family. With many treatments, Eric and Mary were soon able to start a family, first with a little boy. Then when Mary was pregnant with their second child, the cancer they thought was gone returned, and a couple of months before Kimmie was born, Eric dead.

Kimmie Olivia Block was born on October 2, 1996, and through her family lived in a tiny house, she was a happy baby and toddler. Her life was pretty normal, even if her family was poor and had to work hard for everything. Kimmie started school at four, and at six during practice for a Christmas play, Kimmie discovered that she loved acting. From then on, she loved putting on mini plays. Everything was pretty much going Kimmie's way.

Then one day in Kimmie's last year of high school, her mom came home saying she got big news; she was offered a better paying job....in New York. And they were moving right after school let out for the summer. While Kimmie was happy for her mom, she was scared and worried about moving. But she had no choice, and soon Kimmie was in New York, standing in her new home.

While Kimmie tried to adjusted to her new house and town, she begun noticing something different; her clothes were getting baggy, she had some difficulty swallowing, she also was tried almost all the time, and had a persistent cough. She knew the signs of cancers, since her mother talked about it all the time, and she know her father had died from it, but Kimmie couldn't, wouldn't, believe she had cancer, she just chalked it up to stress. However as the days get by, she know she couldn't put it off. She finally told her mom, and they went to the doctor.

It turn out that while Kimmie did have cancer, it was in the early stages, and looked like it could be easily treated. While Kimmie was worried, she tried to put on a brave face. To take her mind off of the cancer, she applied to the local university and got in. As the last few years went by, Kimmie got treated for the cancer and while she was tried a lot of the time, she managed to get just passing grades in her classes.

Now that she's nineteen, she's finally cancer free, though she worries it'll come back, and has a job at Starbucks as a barista. She's also finishing another year at college.
