He doesn't believe that there's someone out there for everyone, and he believes he's going to be alone for the rest of his life. He's fine with that, though. HISTORY: nick was born february 13 about 18 years ago to bickering, young parents. he was born with a twin, and that made things harder on his parents, causing more fights for the young infants to deal with. the fights were over money, who would take care of the kids while the other did what, etc. but, of course, they were too young to remember it. and then, as they approached the age of two, they got a present of twin siblings. aly and damion.



again with the twins. he took to them well, but it caused the fights with their parents to get worse, and some nights the kids got no food, no baths, etc. the things they needed to grow up healthy with. and once nick reached age four, he started acting like the big man on campus, well in the apartment, and he helped feed the younger ones, and his little sister when his mother was too drunk and upset to do so, or when their father and mother were screaming at each other, or when it was dad’s turn, and their dad was passed out on the couch.



but, with more fights, came another sibling. and this one was special. why? she didn’t come with a twin, and that shocked everyone. but, she also came with something else. the split of their parents. nicky and nick were taken to go live with their dad, because their mom didn’t want to deal with their ‘bratty attitudes’ even if she didn’t interact with them at all, and she took damion, aly, and luna (the new addition).



nick didn’t see his other three siblings until he was older. much older. he didn’t even know he had a mother. he was told his mother had died in a car crash, and all talk of other siblings was a big no. it was as if there was no other family. but nick could remember something. and it bothered him a lot.



why couldn’t he remember anything?



after his parents split, it was pretty much growing up normal. well, if you consider living in a run-down apartment building with your dad never home because he was off dealing and or taking drugs, and dealing with yourself and your twin sister normal, then it was normal. he ate breakfast, he went to school, he came home, he did his homework. he was close to his sister. except for the fact that he liked men, and he was into doing his school work, he was pretty much a normal kid.



but, one day he was going through his dad’s things, and he found a photo of a woman, with nick and nicky as young children, and three other kids that he remembered faintly. were they childhood friends? why was the lady so mad looking? and why was only one child blonde? it all just didn’t make sense! one night, when his dad came home stoned, he asked him about the picture, making sure nicky was in bed, and he yelled and screamed at his dad. he was kicked out, but not before he got information on the lady in that picture. his birth mother. she wasn’t dead like he’d been told. he talked with nicky, and she agreed to leave their dad at the young age of fifteen, and just go find her. see what it was all like. so, it took a while because she was on the other side of the country, and once they found her in rhode island, they saw that she was a lawyer.



they saw that she was re-married. had the three kids in the picture still. and only one of those three kids was accepting. and that one was luna. the youngest one. she was the sweetest one, too, and nick took to her instantly. he treated her as if he’d known her his entire life, and he did, actually. he just hadn’t known it. but the twins, damion and aly, they were rough. damion was a goofy kid, but he was just scared about accepting new people, and accepting the reason why he’d never met them was even harder. and aly, she was just a downer. a downer in life, and on everything. but nick didn’t mind. his family was once again together, and he felt whole. even the step-dad was an alright guy. things worked out smoother than he’d planned. and once he turned 18, his mother wanted to send each kid to boarding school. just for the experience. and because their dad was arguing with her again over who should get the kids.



and then he graduated. sure, he graduated about two years ago, but he didn't have any use for college. and he was dating steele, so it didn't matter. but then him and steele broke up, and things happened, and he went to drinking and drugs. even more of a reason not to go to college. then his siblings were fighting really bad. like, they wouldn't talk to each other. and he hated that, so that led to more drinking and drugs. and by the time his siblings stopped and he and steele got back together, it was too late. he didn't have any want to stop. and he hasn't. he moved to new york with damion and luna to see what all it had to offer.
