PERSONALITY: Like her brother, Lilia is friendly but aside from their similar looks, that’s where all comparisons end. Where her brother is quiet unless he’s onstage, Lilia is loud and outgoing and never set foot on a stage with the intention of performing. But not in a way that she’s in your face. Lilia is a sweetheart, gladly taking on the role of babysitter to her darling baby niece. She can’t act as well as her brother but she can toss around a few accents when she’s reading tales to Issy, just to make her laugh. While Theo is a pacifist, Lilia gets right in the middle of the trouble. She doesn’t back down when she knows she’s right. Stubborn to the core and back in this Scottish darling’s middle name! She’s an intelligent girl with a head for the medical profession and a signature to match as well. She took some time off from school in Scotland though, in her final year of med school to pack up and move across the Atlantic to help Theo out after his wife’s passing and daughter’s birth. Lilia’s world hardly revolves around partying, though she does get out occasionally with friends, her life mostly revolves around school and Issy. Lilia is sassy and confident. She isn’t a pushover either and doesn’t accept no when she hears it. She’s finally going back to school now that Issy is a little older and now that Theo has officially graduated.

HISTORY: Alfie and Alicia Sterling were graced with two healthy, adorable baby boys five years apart. It would be two more years before being gifted with a daughter and their final addition to the family for a while. Lilia Jayne was like any other child growing up. She got into things she shouldn’t have, learned words she shouldn’t have and picked on her older brothers because she could. Her childhood was the usual for a little girl with two older brothers and a girl that she would swear had a room in their house despite living across the street. Lili adored Jenny though, loved that she was always around to ask silly questions to, talk about boys with when she was older and interested and Jenny and Theo made their relationship official. She was close to her brothers, but she was their baby sister and though she could take care of herself thanks to them, she could exactly talk to them about girl issues. Theo gave it a try and Lilia always felt that of the two of them, The was the one she could turn to with her problems while Alan would fix her problems for her, confront whomever she was having trouble with. And Lilia didn’t want that.
When she was twelve the family went on vacation for the entire summer and Lilia loved every minute of it. She fell in love with travel right then and there. When she returned home, life was pretty much the same for her. Alan was away at school, Theo was spending more and more time with Jenny; which Lilia couldn’t complain about but could happily tease him for. In Lilia’s final year of high school, she accepted a scholarship and a place in an abroad program in Barcelona, Spain. She’d been taking Spanish throughout school, so she was quite fluent and she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to go. She spent half the school year in Barcelona, coming home only for the Holidays and returning again. She was in a group of students from all over Scotland and got quite close with a boy from Linlithgow. When the time came to go back home, Lilia kept in touch through texting and emails with most of her class abroad but none were as close as Kellen. In the summer the two along with a few others planned to meet up back in Barcelona and spend the summer really travelling around together.
The summer came and went and Lilia did go on that trip but unlike a few of her friends, she continued travelling with Kellen and a couple others from the group. She came home for school after she’d gotten her fill of travelling for the time. She went three years to school, studying medicine to become a doctor. Lilia had always wanted to help people anyway she could and eventually the thought came to her that the best way she could do that was to become a doctor. She was starting her final year of school before doing her four years of residency when life took a turn for the worst for the family. Lilia was home, helping to pack the care package the families were sending to New York for Theo’s and Jenny’s baby when the news came through. Lilia helped with all the arrangements since Jenny’s parents as well as her own were too distraught and someone needed to have a clear head. Lilia cried but her tears were silent, someone needed to be tough and push through everything. She put off going back to school, explaining why she needed to take the time off and would get back in contact when things were better and she could return; but she never made that call or sent that paperwork. She packed her things, took only a few bits with her and got her parents to ship what else she needed and got on the plane back to New York with Theo and Issy.
Kellen and Lilia tried the long distance thing but ultimately they decided it was for the better they separate, though they remained friends. She’s twenty four now and with Issy being a year old and Theo graduated from school, she’s putting in a little time for herself, starting her senior year in the fall and then taking her residency to specialize her skills. She’s not entirely sure where she wants to be after all is said and done, but she wants to help people and put her skills to good use.
