SECRETS: It’s well known that Lennox was named after three of William Shakespeare’s characters. What isn’t as known is the vast collection of his works she owns. She doesn’t talk about it simply because she doesn’t have a need to. If someone were to stumble across the second bedroom turned library in her apartment, they would know her not-so-secret secret, but her explanation would only be accompanied by a careless shrug of her shoulder.
PERSONALITY: Lennox was born to be an actress whether it be on the stage or in front of a camera. The girl has quite the dramatic flair about her. She slips into a character like she’s slipping on her favourite jumper. From the moment she could walk and talk, she was putting on shows for her family. A sweet child, she grew up to be an outgoing, charming girl with a zest for life. Definitely not one to be a wallflower, Lennox will be the first to jump out into the middle of the dance floor. Nox is a friendly, if a little flirtatious girl who means well, but get a few drinks in the newly twenty one year old and she’s bound to have some words. Drinking she’s been known to be mouthy and feisty young woman. Acting since she was small gave Lennox the confidence to know that she could do whatever she wanted with her life. She has a determined soul with hidden smarts behind a loud and fun exterior. Lennox isn’t the girl you’ll find sitting around reading a book, though there are pictures that it has happened before! She’s the one that will be running around, practicing her lines, dancing or trying to talk someone else into doing something fun. She won’t deny that she is quite the enabler, always trying to get her friend’s to cave to her will. When she needs to, Nox has quite the nasty temper. HISTORY: Jefferson and Fiona met at school. The stories of how they met change depending on who’s telling the story but it all ends the same; with them together, married with two kids two years apart. Both had wanted kids, but both wanted careers first; they wanted to be settled, with money in the bank before they started a family. Fiona was thirty five when she had Fabian, Jefferson was thirty seven. Two years later, they had Lennox. By then, Jefferson and Fiona were both professors at Oxford specializing in Shakespeare but also other authors and novelists from the same era. They were practically obsessed with the bard’s works, even going so far as to name their children after character’s in his works.
From the time Lennox was big enough to walk and talk, she was dancing and putting on shows for her grandparents who watched the children while their parents were at work. She was a creative little girl that was put into dance classes to deal with all the bubbly energy she seemed to have in abundance. Shortly after, her mother gave permission for Charlotte, her grandmother to bring her to a talent agency. From there, she did a few commercials, some minor roles but nothing major at all. When she was about twelve she joined a theatre troupe. She had roles in most of the Shakespeare productions the group put on along with a few other plays and musicals. By the time she was sixteen, she had gotten her hands on bigger roles and guest appearances on TV shows.
She chose to attend an art based high school, earning top grades. Lennox thought about quitting school to focus on acting but quickly thought better of it; much to her family’s pleasure. Where Fabian chose not to tell people he was named after a fictional character, Lennon loved it. It wasn’t something she yelled off the tops of roofs but it was something she was amused and even proud of; because she adored Shakespeare as much as her parents did. When it came time to go off to college and university, Nox, didn’t want to stay around Oxford or even England. She wanted to expand and explore. So she applied to schools outside the country. She was accepted to NYU to study Drama and Theatre. Finally a junior, Lennox is taking whatever life throws at her and trying to get through University so she can hit Broadway with more knowledge and experience under belt.
