FEARS: Getting into a car accident, forgetting his wife, getting the same call he got with his wife for his son when he's older.
SECRETS: Shortly after Clara’s death, Graham started filming a movie he had auditioned for before everything exploded. At first he wasn’t going to take it but he did need the money and there was no way out of his contract, so he went for it. During the near two months of filming, Graham had an affair with the lead actress. She was single; he needed comfort and a shoulder. She was there with both. It was all kept secret and because he still feels like he’s somehow cheated on his wife back then, he hasn’t told a soul about it.
PERSONALITY: Graham is a charismatic guy, definitely a face for the stage. He’s talented being able to slip into any role given to him without much trouble at all. He’s quirky often taking his acting skills outside the theatre and school to tease and joke around with his son. Graham’s responsible and has the weight of the world on his shoulders though he doesn’t let that slow him down. He was destined for the stages of Broadway but fate sidetracked that for the time being. Right now, the charmer is a professor at NYU, using his skills and knowledge to mould others. And his free time is spent being silly with Carson, chasing his around the park or teaching him accents. During work hours, Graham is a mischievous man, pulling pranks, cracking jokes and starting trouble with his students. He had wanted his classes to be fun when he started teaching and so far, he wasn’t disappointed and he hoped his student’s weren’t. After Clara’s death, Graham turned a little introverted, but eventually that fell away. Those thoughts and actions had to, for Carson. Graham is an understanding man because of the troubles he’s had in the past, so he is a bit more lenient towards those students and people having troubles. Though not an excessively loud man by nature, Graham has been known to get excited about roles or auditions. And he would never be considered quiet. He tries to keep his life organised, at least at home, while his office at NYU looks more like a tornado hit it. This man is a sweetheart and always willing to help out whenever he needs to.

HISTORY: Twenty seven years ago an adorable baby boy was born to parents, Marcus and Madeline Price. At a young age, the pair could tell their son was meant for the spotlight. Graham was in every school production; even applying to an arts’ based high school when the time came. He hadn’t done the usual things boys did growing up. There was only one sports team in his childhood; tennis, but he did shoot hoops with friends and he did enjoy the homemade rink his father put together in the backyard every winter. Graham and his friend’s would hang out in the backyard after school and on weekends, skating and putting together mini hockey tournaments, though Graham never joined a team. He was a pretty popular kid growing up with the things his parents did for him and his friends. His mom made hot cocoa, helped him run lines, volunteered with all of the productions Graham got a part in.
When Graham got older, he found his place in sports, school and life. He joined a local theatre troupe, learned to snowboard and became a lead in almost every school production by the time he was a sophomore. He could sing, he could dance, and he completely immersed himself in his roles, becoming the character. But he was also a terrible trickster, playing pranks on the other actors in good fun and to lighten a tense situation. It wasn’t until he was a senior in high school before his mother took him to New York to visit a talent agency. They asked questions, took pictures and a demo reel. He was a talented kid and felt like there wasn’t a role he couldn’t play. He hadn’t come across one yet he couldn’t master.
That same year, he applied to a few different universities with excellent acting programmes. This was what he wanted to do with his life. He hadn’t had such an early start with it because his parents wanted him to have a normal childhood away from people demanding too much from him and working until three in the morning at seven years old. Graham was thankful for that though, because he’d had good friends and time to figure himself out. Acceptance letters came from three different school’s for early admittance. But Graham was holding out on two; NYU’s Tisch school of the Arts and Juilliard. He was accepted to both, which came as a surprise to even him. He believed he was a good actor, but even he didn’t think he was good enough to make the averaged six percent of applicants to Julliard. It was a difficult choice, but after doing more research, Graham couldn’t possibly accept his place at Juilliard. It was far too much money to stay at the school and even more to get an off campus place. His parents had money, and probably more than enough to enroll him in the competitive, world renowned school but he didn’t want them paying so much for schooling basically because of the name of the school itself. Their programmes were incredible, but he couldn’t do that. So, he accepted his place at Tisch School of the arts; which was a place he quickly learned that he fit in better to.
The school housed all the art school students together and Graham was one of them. He stayed on campus with a roommate, a guy named Eric attending the school for music. It was daunting to be around such talented and amazing people, but Graham was determined and four years later, he graduated from Tisch at the top of his class. Through those four years, blood, sweat and tears were shed to get him and everyone else there closer to their dreams. It was at orientation that Graham met Eric, his roommate and immediate best friend, and Clara Prescott, a girl studying in the Photography department. The three of them with two others were close, often grabbing food together in the cafeteria or sharing a table in the library if need be. It took quite a few months of playful games of footsies and teasing flirty words before Graham felt confident Clara wouldn’t turn him down if he asked her out. Four years, two months and twelve days later, they walked down the aisle in a beautiful ceremony among the snow topped mountains in Maine. They were both twenty two and Clara was pregnant; though Graham didn’t have a clue at the time.
Clara surprised him later that night when they were alone and six months later, Carson Prescott Price. Through the time of the pregnancy and the three years following, Clara made a good living with her Photography and Graham was impressed with everything she did. She was quite the genus, while he went to audition after audition for both Broadway plays and TV work. He landed himself some commercials as well as a few recurring roles on popular shows and a role here and there in some movies. There was nothing major on the film front, but Broadway loved him, snagging a lead role with his ability to become another person for a part. Plus, his accents and knowledge of Shakespeare had Carson laughing when his father would recite lines with silly sounds.
When Carson was three, Graham took an early night from a play he was the lead in to surprise his wife and son with dinner and movies. He was spending so much time at the theatre that it wasn’t fair for the rest of his family and he was aware of it. He wanted to show them that he was still there for them and loved them both dearly. Graham was putting the finishing touches on dinner when he got a call from Carson’s daycare; Clara was late picking him up. Naturally, Graham was confused since he hadn’t received a text message or a call telling him she was going to be running late and couldn’t pick Carson up. When that happened, Graham went out, grabbed him and brought him back to the theatre until either they were all finished for the night or Clara showed up after her job to pick him up. The women fawned over him so it wasn’t much trouble. Graham stopped to talk to Carson’s teacher about how he was doing, since he wasn’t actually the one who was usually there to pick the little guy up. A couple hours later, Graham was sitting with a sleepy Carson next to him, watching some silly children’s show when a call came through. Not recognizing the number, Graham ignored it at first, but they called back so he slipped away for a moment and moved out of the living room as he answered. Within five minutes, Graham was calling over the neighbour to watch Carson so he could run to the hospital. Clara had been in an accident going to pick Carson up from daycare and no one had thought to check her personal belongings for her phone. She had a ring on her left ring finger indicating there was someone at home that loved her and was waiting for her.
Anguish was written on his face when he rushed through the hospital doors, straight to the nurse’s station and asked for his wife. Exactly forty two minutes and nineteen seconds later, Clara’s heart stopped and they couldn’t revive her. She’d been in surgery but there was too much bleeding and they couldn’t find where it was coming from, despite searching for as long as the doctors and nurses had. It took nearly a week to go through the proceedings; thankfully Clara’s parents as well as Graham’s were around to help out with things. Graham sort of switched off after that. He went to work on the play, needing to be another person and get away from the real world. But the play was coming to an end and he couldn’t put Carson through months of uncertainty. One of Graham’s professors was at the wake and spoke with Graham about a position available at his alma mater, if he was interested. He could take it once the play came to an end in two months and after some thought and conversations with his mother, he accepted the position.
That was two years ago and not very much has changed in Graham’s life. Carson is a charming five year old little boy who seems just as taken with the dramatic arts as his father. The family is back up to three members with a dog Carson named Bo; Graham still isn’t sure what Carson was really trying to say after all this time. Right now, Graham is taking things slow still, picking up some acting work through the summer and whenever he can to add to the income from NYU. Things are getting better but it’s still tough, and all Graham wants now is for Carson to be happy and grow up with everything he wants.
