PERSONALITY: Simon has a bit of an addicted personality. He'll try anything once, and more often than not, he'll jump right on the bandwagon. Never one to turn down a good night out, Simon loves the nightlife, often spending too much time being the flirtatious hunk the women seem to think he is. In fact, he's probably as close to the opposite as a good guy can get. He doesn't have any tattoos or piercings but you don't need them to be a bad boy. He's a charmer with a silver tongue, using clever words to win over anyone he needs to. Despite how he acts out, he's a loyal friend with hardly any temper at all. Honestly, Simon is probably more talk than action. He's been known as a bit of a nerd his entire life but a seriously hot one. So hot, his previous girlfriends have conveniently overlooked this rather large fact about the man. He's trying to drop that geek factor but he knows it's going to difficult and that he'll give up eventually. He’s a bit of a goofball and is constantly acting a fool, even though he’s trying hard to shed his past. Until then he's going to play the bad boy and enjoy it because there’s really nothing out there to lose. For him, right now, it’s just a game to be played.MOTHER: Martha Whitley & 48.

HISTORY: Patrick grew up surrounded by doctors, teachers and professors with his own having doctorates in their chosen fields. His two aunts were high school teachers while his only uncle was a professor in California. It was only expected of him to follow in their footsteps, which he did happily, eventually teaching Anthropology. Ten years and four months after Patrick was welcomed into the world, Martha Jane Wilson was born. She was a happy child, very friendly and too trusting for her own good. Both grew up without much of a story to be told. When Martha was in her final year of high school, she set about applying to all sorts of colleges and universities and found herself a few short months later, in this handsome, charming doctor’s classroom. She took Anthropology as a filler course, thinking it would be a fairly easy course to get through. She wanted to be a child psychologist and thought maybe it would help. She sat in the back row, paying attention but not really. Yet, she still managed to get a high grade because she really couldn’t allow herself get anything less than an top grade, even on a filler course like that.
The professor asked her to stay behind one day after she’d tried to collect one of her papers. He’d wanted to talk to about it. They were flirty but Patrick remained professional throughout. The summer rolled around and Patrick ran into Martha at the bar where she worked to have a little money in her pocket for rainy days. The place was dead on a Thursday night but Pat stayed through till closing and walked Martha back to her small studio apartment. He stayed professional but as Martha didn’t have his class anymore, he showed up at the bar more often and they became friends. It wasn’t until a month after Martha graduated that Patrick set about making his move. They’d been nearly inseparable ever since. They moved in together six months later. Her friends thought it was strange and hadn’t even known they were a couple until Martha asked the small group if they would be her bridesmaids.
When Martha was twenty five, and Patrick ten years her senior, Simon was born. He was a good baby, never really got into trouble but he wasn’t all that fond of the outdoors. He had allergies as a child and the spring and summer months were not his friends, despite how much he loved to swim and play basketball. But his allergies were so bad, he could do neither outdoors. His parents gave him video games and comic books though and made it work for him. Thankfully, he grew out of his allergies but by then it was too late, he was a nerd and loved every minute of it. He could hide it well with basketball and his appearance but just how nerdy he was always managed to show itself eventually. His friends loved it, they could always run to him to solve their fights with this superhero verses that one. The girls weren’t particularly moved by his knowledge or his skill with a game controller.
Four years after Simon was born, his parents gave him a little sister and he promised he would take care of his baby sister. A promise he kept from that moment on. She could run to him with any problem and he would help her fix it. He helped with her homework, with her fights with her friends. He threatened the boys who thought they were good enough for his little sister when she started to take an interest in boys. But it was also around then that he was looking for schools. Eventually, he settled on his father’s school as it was free for professor’s kids to attend the school. He stayed at home because it was an easy commute to the university and it gave him amble time to hang out with his sister and torment her and her friends. He stuck around for three years, before the itch to travel seeped into his veins and hopped on a plane. He found himself in South American helping small villages build schools for their kids. After six months, he returned home but decided he wanted to move to New York to finish school. As much as he loved his school, his friends and his family, the programme just wasn’t working for him anymore. So he packed his bags, hopped in the Honda Civic his parents had gotten him to get to and from school and almost made it out of town without looking back.
But Jessie had taken a year between high school and university to work and earn a little cash. When August rolled around and Simon started looking for an apartment, Jessie said she was going to stick around home, even though she’d gotten accepted at NYU. As it turned out, Simon hit city limits when his phone rang; Jessie wanted a ride. She’d talked it over with their parents and they agreed it was time to set them both free. Simon turned around, picked up his sister and then drove out of town. Their parents made them promise to call daily and sent them money to set up their small two bedroom apartment. And now, Simon couldn’t be happier.
