She enjoys varying up her style and the length and has been known to just stop by her stylists to get the lengthy locks chopped right off.
EYES: Blue

SECRETS: Remi knows about her father’s “other” family. She knows his girlfriend has two kids of her own, neither belong to her father and she knows the pre-nup her grandfather had him sign meant that if he ever left her mother, he would get absolutely no money whatsoever. And the same if it was ever found out and documented that he was cheating on her. Remi has never told anyone though. She has that photographic evidence that she needs. She has no love for her father, she was always her mother’s daughter but Raleigh still loved Blake. And Remi is too worried about being the one to break her mother’s heart to tell her the truth and set her free.
PERSONALITY: Remington York is quite the woman. She’s up, she’s down, she honestly doesn’t know who she is. And that’s the exciting part. She’s energetic and fun-loving and always on the lookout for a good party. She’s a nerd and proud of it. She will happily get into a heated discussion about superheroes or just as easily rock music. Remi is a doll but don’t let that sweet exterior fool you, she’s a feisty one with a pretty wicked temper when it’s set free. She’s got excellent control over it though. She is definitely one of a kind, preferring to let her sarcastic nature do the talking instead of her fists, though she is a black belt in three different martial arts. Remi is certainly not someone you want to anger or someone you want to meet in a dark alley, she will hurt first and ask questions later. Becoming an actor is really only half of what she wants. She also wants to do her own stunts and is very good at the more athletic parts of being an actor. Remi is definitely a quirky girl, whose book cover didn’t match the story at all. She’s heard a dozen times through her life how she was a beautiful girl with her mother’s eyes and smile and pert little nose but she doesn’t use her appearance to her advantage, she’d much rather let her personality and character speak for her; and they have a lot to say on her behalf! She would much rather hang out with the guys but she’s a bit of a romantic at heart. Remi’s not sure if she wants to be swept off her feet but she would love for someone to try!MOTHER: Shelby York & 50.

HISTORY: Remington and her twin Raleigh were born two minutes apart in Tucson, Arizona to Shelby and Blake York. But before that ever happened, they met at a fundraiser for sick kids. Shelby’s family were very wealthy, Arizona royalty. Shelby’s grandfather was an excellent businessman, turning their small family business, a small local television station into a huge multi-platform conglomerate before he handed it down to his son, Shelby’s father. He and his wife ran the business well, even expanding on it whilst raising their two children. Each had a part to play in the family business but Shelby, being the oldest had the most control. She took over when her father decided it was time for him to step down and she was quite pleased, though she did share her position with her little brother. And they ran the company equally. Then tragedy struck and her sweet baby brother got into a car accident. A drunk driver swerved into his lane and took his car with him off the road. It was devastating to say the least.
Slowly but surely they got over their grief and Shelby met this lovely man at a fundraiser her brother had held dear to his heart. Shelby had promised him while they lowered his casket into the ground that she would continue doing the work he’d started with the charities. When Blake was ready to propose, he went to Shelby’s father and asked for his daughter’s hand. Her father was impressed with his traditional sense but made one thing clear, Shelby Vale was worth quite a fortune and as it was a family fortune, he was not about to let Blake have a cent of it. He wanted the man who loved his daughter so much to sign a prenuptial agreement, stating if Blake really did love Shelby for Shelby, signing his name to a piece of paper would be very little. So Blake signed what the lawyer put in front of him; should he leave Shelby or it is found he cheated on her and they divorced, Blake walked away without a single penny. He would take with him only the money he’d made on his own.
He wasn’t part of the family business and made a tidy sum in his own right so in the beginning it hadn’t matter. Shelby told him she was pregnant two years after their wedding took place. It was a lovely surprise and Shelby said she was going to name her first born after her brother. Nine months later Remington was the first to see light followed closely by her twin sister Raleigh. Identical twins, they could not be told apart as children and kept up the game as they grew into young women. It was a fun game to play and since no one could tell them a part, neither ever really got into trouble. They couldn’t blame both of them when only one of them did it but they dressed the same on purpose, even when they’d been smaller and they wore their hair the same way as well. The only way to tell them a part were their hobbies. Raleigh turned out to be far more of a girly girl when it came down to it and they started to really develop their own personalities.
Remington was the more athletic of the pair, preferring a more active lifestyle. It had taken them a good twelve years but by the time they were thirteen, it was a hell of a lot easier to tell the twins a part. Though they were still identical, Remi had a more devil may care vibe about her, liking rock music and martial arts while Raleigh preferred spending her time at the country club playing tennis. She also attended martial arts classes but she wasn’t as interested in it. Shelby had put them in so they would be able to take care of themselves. Remi took to it all instantly, falling for the graceful but lethal movements instantly, even at four while Raleigh sat in the corner of the mats, playing with her toes. As it turned out, Remi was the more dramatic of the pair as well, which considering how Raleigh got on, it was a complete shock. But unlike her twin Remi was dramatic only when she had to be, like in class or when her arts teacher during her freshman year of high school suggested she join the drama club. Remi never really fit in with a single group at school, she could bounce from one to another and fit in well while her sister was more of the popular group, she was a cheerleader, she dated a football player, after they had pulled a switch and he could tell them apart.
Remi went from boyfriend to boyfriend, never really sticking to one because as she saw it, she was young and reckless and if it was meant to be, they would find each other once again. They never parted ways on a bad note and the guys she saw knew they probably wouldn’t last more than a month or two. It was during a date when she’d been sixteen that she’d caught her father. Magnus had shown up on her doorstep, spoke her to mother politely, despite dressed like he was in a punk rock band and surprised Remi with concert tickets. They went to dinner first, his family owned a high end restaurant and as he’d wanted to impress Remi, he’d brought her there first. Her father was there with a woman she’d only ever seen in passing when she had to go to his office for something. She was high up the corporate ladder in the company but she wasn’t anyone Remi had cared about. Her favourite had been her father’s personal assistant Gwen. She slipped Remi candy and chocolate when her father said she wasn’t allowed to have any.
Remi barely touched her food, pushing it around on her plate before Magnus asked her what the hell was wrong with her and she told him. She’d been watching her father the entire time they were they, he’d been holding the woman’s hand, looking at her like she’d never seen him look at her mother, lean across the table to kiss her, in public view where word could get back to her mother. Magnus was the one who suggested they follow them and Remi had been so grateful she’d agreed. They had a couple hours before the concert actually started so off they went, following close enough behind her father’s car so they wouldn’t lose him but far enough back that they weren’t obviously following them. Blake stopped outside a small home in a nice suburb on the opposite side of town from their large upper class home. Remi and Magnus slipped out of their car and headed towards the house to check out what was happening. Inside there were two children who got kisses goodnight from both the woman and Remi’s father before heading upstairs. Then the adults moved to the living room. Things looked well enough, maybe even sweet and then Blake moved towards the blonde and Remi had to look away. But not before handing Magnus her phone and telling him to take pictures of them. She needed to proof. In the end, he took the pictures on his own phone because he’d seen what it was doing to Remi and he knew it would break his heart to know she could see those pictures every time she opened her phone. They might break up in a month or two or even a week from that night but he really did care for Remi. They went on to the concert but Remi couldn’t get into it like she had hoped she would. She needed the distraction but the music didn’t help all that much.
She felt terrible about ruining the night that Magnus put so much work into so she offered to make it up to him. And she showed up on his doorstep one Saturday morning, a nice surprise to see him answer the door in just a pair of Spider-man pyjama bottoms, no shirt and barefoot with his hair a mess. She couldn’t help herself, she kissed him good morning first then told him about the surprise she’d planned for them. He had mentioned a few times about certain celebrities he would love to meet and it just so happened that one of them was going to be at the studio later that day so she was taking him with her. They had a good time and as it turned out, unlike the rest of her ill-fated relationships Remi and Magnus made it through to the end of their high school careers, a full year and a half! It had shocked everyone, including Remi herself! But they parted ways after graduation. She was running off to school in New York, and he was heading to California to study his passions.
Now at twenty, Remi has sort of gone back to how she was before Magnus was her boyfriend. She went from guy to guy, no relationship lasting more than three months at most before she was closing the door on their faces. She stopped talking to her father the day she’d caught him cheating on her mother and spend quite some time after that building up a file on everything she could about him and his second family, keeping a copy for herself and knowing that despite the distance that Magnus still had the backup copy she’d given him. They might not have been together but they were still together on this one thing. Her mother was blissfully unaware of what was happening and Remington didn’t want to be the one to break her mother’s heart so they’d chosen to keep it to themselves, knowing that if the day ever came where she just couldn’t handle it anymore, Magnus would return home with her to tell her mother the news. These days Remi is just trying to forget her home life back in Arizona and stay on track to make her dreams the reality she was hoping for.
