HISTORY: damion was born on august 24th along with his twin sister allison freeland. they weren’t the only ones there. they had two older siblings. nick and nicky freeland. they didn’t remember them for a long while, and their mother never talked about them, but as they were going from the age one to two, nick and nicky took charge while their parents fought. and then, luna came.
that’s when mrs. freeland said that was enough, and took all the kids, but nicky and nick, and left. that was pretty much the last time damion saw his siblings. his mother remarried to a man in rhode island, and he forgot that he had two older siblings. his childhood was pretty normal. he was (so he thought) the oldest in the three siblings, he got encouraged to do what he wanted, and he laughed a lot with his sisters.
going through school, he made average grades. he wasn’t the brightest, but he didn’t mind. his mother and step-father still loved him. it’s not like he was going to use it in the future anyways. at the age of 12, he started his first band. his step-dad was out working all the time, and his mother watched and cheered them on at every performance and practice.
but the band broke up long before it could take off. they were just kids. but that didn’t discourage him one bit. damion was more set on his rock star dream than ever! in middle school, eighth grade to be exact, he formed a band with his best friends, and they did covers of green day songs, did gigs, and what-not. his mother was always there. his step-dad coming every once in a while, but it didn’t bother damion. he knew the man was busy.
one random day, though, he got a surprise. two new siblings. he wasn’t so taken with them at first, but he warmed up to them after a while. they both seemed pretty cool, and they supported him in his dream of music. not to mention they supported aly and luna, too. that was more important to him than his dream. as long as they liked his sisters and weren’t jerks to them, then they were cool.
then he remembered them. he’d seen pictures with those kids in them, but he hadn’t really asked. he thought they were cousins or something. but after a while of smooth-sailing with nick and nicky, dad came back wanting the children to live with him. so, mom, not wanting her children to live with the wretched man, sent them each to boarding school.
he had a blast in boarding school. he got to make new friends, which he loved, and he got to work at bars. and he actually got all the tattoos he wanted without his mom being there. people were way more shady than when you were in rhode island. so, those were his first few months. he met people, and yeah. all that fun stuff.
then he met arimet and apollo. and of course they're still his favorite people. apollo was his roommate, and arimet was a good friend. and then things got romantic between him and ari. and he fell head over heels for her. things went great for a while. and one day, his older sister nickie had talked to ari. nickie fed lies to ari, and that caused ari to break up with damion. damion wouldn't go near his dorm after that, seeing as apollo was ari's brother and all. he didn't want anything to remind him of his love.
he stopped his music career, and he stopped living, basically. he just stayed in nick's room, not wanting to be near nickie, and he just lay there. there was nothing more for him to do. not to mention that he was fighting with nickie, and nickie and luna were in a huge fight. he just didn't want to be apart of that family anymore. it was too much. nick was the only normal one, and he was a hard core druggie and alcoholic. so, that's not really normal, but you get my drift.
after a few months, he went out on the town, and he ran into ari. they kissed and stuff, and then he left. but eventually, they got back together. his muse for music was back, as was his love for life. they eventually parted ways again, though, and he wasn't as devastated this time. he realized it was time for him to start making things with his band more permanent, and he moved everyone to new york to have a better chance.
